Calling the $30 private rooms “closet size” implies that they are tiny which they are not. There is plenty of room to stand or move around to get in a comfortable position. The rooms also have mirrors on all the walls that can make for some interesting viewing in addition to a good size table to put your drink or other belongings on instead of the floor.

My friends from North Jersey drive down for an afternoon Phillies game every year and they can’t wait for the game to end so we can go here. It’s the one time a year that they go to a strip club and they love having a couple beers, looking at some pussy and bs-ing with the girls, and have no interest in doing dances. It’s a good time.

The Purple Orchid would have been a much better choice. Easier to get to from the Walt Whitman bridge, better looking girls, and private rooms for dances with extras.

There are 2, not 1, private $30 rooms, that are side by side. IMO the private room is well worth the extra $10.

Whenever going to any club always be prepared with a cover, never assume that she will have one. Two is better in case there is a problem with the first one. That second one has saved me from a case of severe frustration more than once.

Don’t hate on me. I too used to misuse the word infamous. It does not mean that something is extra famous. It means that someone or something is well known for having a bad reputation or for doing evil acts. Al Capone and serial killer Ted Bundy are examples is people who are infamous. The 19th was famous for extras.

As ThatXGuy85 said liberties are taken. Just read the most recent review for LaPearl Lounge, it is the bar downstairs from OuterSpace.
It’s been 3 years since I was here but at the time the private room was $20 to the bartender for 12 or 15 minutes and a tip to the dancer. I think the only piece of furniture was a kitchen chair.
Also, there was a shooting outside this place in July. Google la Pearl lounge shooting.

I agree with HiYaDave, go later in the afternoon, there will be more girls to choose from. I did a dance with Mahogany once and didn’t care for her technique. Try Slim if you like petite girls or Miracle if a bigger girl is your preference.

Glad you are giving desertscrub a hard time. Last we I tried to report that there had been a shooting at la Pearl Lounge that I had heard about on the news. I had not been to the club in 2 years and didn’t have a review to leave but I was sure that people would want to know about it. Well, about 8 guys immediately rejected my report included desertscrub who said my report of a shooting was a shill review! Imagine that, desertscrub thinks a shooting outside a club is good for business!

The Purple Orchid is not a dive and some of the girls do like to sit and chat. If you want to meet a girl who talks A LOT spend some time with Athena. Now that girl can talk. Just wondering how many times the guy from Miami has been here.

“This is the PO, extras are included in the dance fee.” Nooo, that would be incorrect. I don’t know why you single out the PO, the girls who work here are here to make a living and tips are an important part of their income just like any other club. Extras cost extra here, just like they do in other clubs. I mentioned your post to one of the girls on Saturday night who was first horrified at your attitude and second, said that she always get tipped for doing dances. What you are looking for are freebies and I suggest that the next time you go to the Orchid that instead of asking a girl if she does extras ask if she does freebies and see how far you get. emptystacks, what an appropriate name.

I did see Melanie recently at about 6pm. As far as private room vs communal I’m with you, private all the way. There’s no cover charge until 7pm when the cover is $5. No cover on Sunday night.

The dancer is not responsible for keeping track of the number of dances, the attendant at the front desk is. ALWAYS go to the front desk with the dancer and let the attendant tell you how many dances you did or you risk getting ripped off. There is a digital clock in the private rooms that helps you to keep track of how many 4 minute dances you have done.
