Awesome evening at the Outer space club but with very limited options

So I had been to this place a long time ago, definitely more than 2 1/2 years so decided to visit one fine week night around 7pm. For those who are new here, this club is located at the corner of 54th and Haverford and quite easy to spot when you get there. I was able to find street parking not too far away from the entrance but there is always that doubt when you park in the area (although I didnt have any issues even last time).

Anyway, as I walked in I noticed that there was no security guy like last time at the front door waiting to pat me down as I entered. So the way this club is set up is that you walk into a smallish bar with a bunch of bar stools lined up and music playing, it was dark and I did not see anyone dancing here. Well then there is also an upstairs which you can get to if you make a right as soon as you enter the business. In my case, there was a guy standing right there who asked for a $10 cover before I could go up.

Upstairs is more spacious in my opinion, a biggish room as you enter with a small bar at the other end and some stools surround it. The layout is interesting as you walk to the bar, there is a wooden bench that almost runs across the length of the hall and a stage with poles and a large mirror opposite to it. It was really hot outside so they had it nice and cool upstairs.
