Call me crazy but it was another weekday afternoon and I thought I'd drive by Rick's again (see my Pandora's review from Aug 11 for context). This time I assumed it would be closed again and sure enough the same woman was outside when I pulled up. "Are you open?" "Yes we are open but we have no entertainers." I should have said "ok admit one please" just to see if she tried to talk me out of it. Anyway, I drove up the road to the place I knew I'd end up at anyway.

Why go to a corporate club in the middle of a weekday afternoon? Well, because if you know what you're getting into and you're ok with that, then it isn't half bad. Although I think drewcareypnw just proved in his latest review that I may even be selling it short on that front.

I arrived around 3:30. Seemed like a lot of cars there. There were at least a half dozen PLs inside. One sitting by himself staring at nothing because there was nothing to look at. One sitting with a dancer. Four more I hadn't noticed yet in the LDA. A middle-aged woman took my money. Daytime cover is $17. It comes with a drink, even if you're not thirsty. After bumping into some furniture in the dark I found a place to sit down near the stage that would never be used. Humorously the robo-DJ kept announcing dancers that never showed and then asked us to applaud them at the end. More humorously, at one point "stage maintenance" was announced as the next dancer. Spoiler alert: that didn't happen either.

I sat down and a girl came and sat next to me. Good body, nice rack, ok face. Name was Minnie or Nellie or something. I didn't see any other girls around that weren't already occupied so my options seemed to be to stare at nothing for a while like that other guy or get a dance with this girl. We chatted for a bit. Eventually she asked if I wanted a dance. I asked if 3/$100 was available and she said yes. We went back to the LDA which was surprisingly populated. Every corner was full, a couple of them by old men who apparently purchased the cuddle package (no judgement from me). We waited for the next song to start. The dances were fine. My hands were free to roam but I didn't push it too far. Her hands didn't roam much at all but I was ok with that on this visit.

All in all I got what I expected, a nice no-extras dance with a solid 7.
