Hadn't been here in several weeks,...
Hadn't been here in several weeks, and decided to give a Thurs night a try. Initially came in around 8, and found about 10 dancers with 20 customers. Decided to use the in/out privs and came back around 10, finding the number of dancers doubling but customer count staying pretty much the same. When I left around 11, only 10 customers. Yikes. This wouldn't have been a problem if the dancers remained in good moods, but this was not the case. I looked over and saw one crying in her seat, and another appeared to be whiping away tears while on stage. I asked a waitress if this was typical, and she said yes, weeknights are very slow up until April. Last time I was here, a dancer was complaining about the place being packed with college kids with no money. Guess she got her wish, huh?
The one reason to come is there are a few good looking ones that give good laps - Skye, Jennifer, Trouble, Mia, and Karma. Avoid Bailey, Sunny, and Porsche. They coast on looks and give dances that aren't much better than the place downtown.
This place mainly works as a weekend alternative if Rick's is too crowded, or if you've really got a thing for skinny 19 year old white girls. But for an truly enjoyable weeknight here, you have to hit it just right. With the lap prices at Sugar's and Honey's dropping down to $20 or $25 around this time of year, I'd rather just go there.
