Interestingly, about two weeks before, I was in a strip club and had a discussion with a dancer about all of the famous people we have run into in gentlemen's clubs over the years. She mentioned about a decade earlier, Phil Mickelson came into her club and went gaga over her. He took her to the VIP. Then, he was trying to get this dancer to come to his hotel room. She did not end up going. She was a young dancer and didn't have an interest in sex for money.
I am guessing if the same scenario happened in 2026, she wouldn't turn down a tryst with a three-time Green Jacket winner at the lodge. Life didn't turn out so well for her. She got pumped and dumped by a loser with no money and is now a single mom in her 30's, still getting naked and groped just to pay her bills.

I remember a story about a newly hired Alabama Football Coach who came down to Pensacola for a celebrity golf tournament. He went to a strip vlub and brought a stripper back to his hotel room. In the morning he goes to play golf she is somehow pissed at him and charges everything on the room delivery menu to his room and then leaves herself. Alabama moves on without him. He never couched a dingle game.

I don't get how high visibility people do things like strip clubs. I get rappers and their cohorts, but golfers, coaches, politicians, ect I just find them to be idiots. What they risk ain't worth it. If they need it so bad, private escorts can be had. I'd NEVER do an OTC to my hotel, and I was recently nudged at the Topeka Sports Cab just a few weeks ago (see my review.) Not worth the risk/reward.

Me Too peaked in 2017. That lines up with around the same time the first girl passed on Phil Mickelson. Strip clubs were still staffed with knockouts (and I never heard of a problem getting takeout). It was also a period of unprecedented economic growth during Trump 45. Maybe between the Me Too nonsense and economic optimism that dancer felt that she could turn down easy cash from a rich white guy and still come out on top.
