Do Black dancers usually prefer approaching Black customers?

I have recently started visiting the clubs, probably only three or four so far, so I am curious whether other people have noticed this too.

During those visits, I have noticed a pattern. I have regularly seen Black dancers approach and spend time with Black customers, but very rarely seem to approach non Black customers, including me. In some cases, I have watched dancers walk past me without making eye contact and then immediately approach Black customers nearby.

So far, I have only been approached by one Black dancer. She was very attractive, but more importantly, she was probably one of the sweetest dancers I have met. We talked for a while, and I ended up getting a few dances from her, although I did not do VIP. That was a really good experience, but since then I have not been approached by another Black dancer.

I have been approached much more frequently by Latina and white dancers. There have also been a couple of Black dancers I was interested in, but they did not seem very interested in engaging with me or approaching me, even when I tried to get their attention. At the same time, I noticed them mostly interacting with Black customers, which is what made the difference stand out to me.

I am not trying to assume that race is definitely the reason. My experience is obviously limited, and it could be regular customers, spending habits, personal preference, who looks approachable, or something else entirely.

Has anyone else noticed a similar pattern where Black dancers mostly seem to approach Black customers?

Also, if a dancer does not initially approach you or show much interest, what is the best way to approach her without being annoying or getting quoted a much higher price? Do you introduce yourself and ask about a dance, tip her on stage first, ask the price upfront, or usually take the lack of attention as a sign to leave her alone?
