Just read a review where the reviewer said he did a couple "warm up" LDs with his CF before heading for a 15 minute VIP. To each their own, but I've never heard of this practice before. Is it common? What's the point--to get the foreplay out of the way in the LD area (no dicks come out in the LD area in this club) to get the maximum amount of fucking in during the more private (and more costly per minute) VIP? Does that mean walking from the LD area to the VIP with a tent in the pants? That's a long, public walk in this club.

It's no more than its name implies. It's nice to spend a little time in discussion on the floor, and do a few dances to get the juices flowing. Also, to verify both parties are feeling the vibe. If so, VIPs tend to flow more smoothly.
Did it occur to you that the reviewer was possibly just using the term warm up as an expression? If i rub or finger a chick's pussy and sniff my finger before sticking my dick in or going down on her I refer to it as a fly by as others also do. It's an expression, it doesn't actually mean that we fly by. I suppose if you want an absolute answer regarding what the reviewer meant i'd advise you to ask him.
I think the reviewer used a "warm up" LD to ensure the stripper doesn't become a "semi-ROB" later in the VIP.
I just read that review (Cheerleaders Philly) and had the same thought, Why do a warmup with a current favorite? I think you should go back to the review and ask your question there to see what the reviewer has to say.
@LuvMissKitty I did, and here's the response. It's a value proposition: $5/min in LD vs, $11 min in VIP: "@Manuellabore rather spend an extra $40 there so I can get what I need in 15 mins instead of 30." So the reviewer is a Marathon Man. Respect

I neglected to mention that the reviewer said the dancer was his CF, so it's not like a "test dance", which is a plausible strategy with a dancer you've never been with before. As far as asking the reviewer about it, I'm not really interested in a particular monger's personal idiosyncrasies. I was more interested if it was a common practice to take a regular to the LD room before going to VIP. If she's a regular, seems like there shouldn't be much suspense about what's going to happen with a regular that would be dispelled by a preliminary trip to the LD room
@Manuellabore If she's somewhat of a regular and she looks like she might be having an off-day, whether through observation, comments by other dancers, or even a comment by her, I'll do the test drive first. It could give her a chance to either get something off her chest or to excuse herself for whatever reason, and then we could go from there.

@ilbbaicnl Nope. I've done 30s even when 15s were available. Even used to do hour sessions at the club in question with a former regular. The novelty here was parceling time between LDs and VIP with a regular, but I understand the reviewer's economic argument when 15 minutes is not enough but a full 30 is unnecessary. With a regular I like, I just spring for the 30 and shoot the shit for a while once the festivities are concluded.

✓ ' $$$ She could just be simply more spirited for warm-ups, all dancers is different, some like the regular strip club floor/pole stage work just as much or even more than pvt dance area/vip, so they could like that warm-up inspiration or tradition, & for the variety. It's okay to ask for warm ups as long as she isn't pushy, & it could help with the club if they have to give house fees, so more dance sales can help, security & fav customers can play a roll. I haven't encountered it, & strippers shouldn't just always automatically ask for a pvt dance or vip without sitting with you first & talking. If they see someone is a really laid back & watching the pole stage, it is nicer to talk first, instead of just trying to grab you for pvt, club observation from dancers for proper customer interaction on an individual basis needs to be looked at. Mi $$$ goes for dancers that isn't just a number. I am very picky about who I tip on stage & pvt dance.
I'm guessing that a FRMOS might achieve the same purpose?

@ilbbaicnl LOL! I don't know what I can share. For instance at Cheetah Hallandale, I have had extensive FR mutual groping sessions that did NOT involve any sort of $10 warm-up dances yet achieved the necessary warm up attention before going into the private dance.

Yes for me it’s a moment of foreplay and anticipation that makes the private more enjoyable, but also intel. Every girl is not giving you their best performance that day, and you can tell pretty quickly where their head is with a quick dance versus letting them just gas you up bar side.
But again, to each their own.
