About how much time do you spend on strip clubs and various other activities and has it changed over the years? I spend about 8 hours a day sleeping, 8 hours a day working, two hours following politics, an hour exercising, an hour eating meals, an hour on other hobbies like reading or listening to music and the rest on miscellaneous things like brushing my teeth or shopping. I used to go to nearby strip clubs twice a week and spend three to four hours weekly in them. Now, as a seventy year old, it is only a trip every three or four weeks. That is the main thing I reduced my time on as I got older.

I've backed way off on strip clubs in general. Clubs aren't as good as they used to be. Even my favorite HK. And I'm older now with ED problems. So once a month now going to tijuana... I'm not saying I like backing way off, but I just couldn't continue on spending money like I was for a long time.

Opposite I’m spending more time on strippers and thinking about sexy than when I was younger

@sfrsox, as a seventy year old I try to live a lifestyle similar to the one someone twenty years younger than me would typically live. Doing this helps keep me young. This would include being physically active by taking hikes at state parks and mentally active by continuing to work. This would also include staying sexually active and that takes the form of visiting strip clubs, though I am cutting back on that. The quality is not there as much as previously and I was doing it a bit too much. I will not feel like I am too old to stop what I do now until I am 85 instead of 65.

Not spending a whole lot of time at work; course, being unemployed can do that to a guy. But I still spend 15-20 hours a week looking and applying for work.

Eat out way too much (including drive-thru) probably 10-15 times a week.

Strip joints have pretty much fallen by the wayside (see "unemployed" for a reasonable reason behind that); still hit them a couple times a year though (birthday -- gotta see some appealing birthday suits because mine sure doesn't -- and damn well better not cut it, and out of state travel, i.e. Gen Con).

Buying things on craigslist or at rummage sales to resell at Gen Con, that's gotten to be a bit of a compulsion. The next con isn't until August 2027, but I'm already buying things. I think it's started to be a substitute for a social life.

Catching a lot of movies, once, sometimes twice a night, five or six nights a week.

I know, I know, I really can't afford massages either, but 1) I'm a night owl with insomnia so sometimes they help me sleep, 2) it almost substitutes for some mockery of a social life, and 3) even if she doesn't get naked or affectionate, it can just feel really, really good.

@PhantomGeek what and where is Gen Con?

@sfrsox Gen Con (gencon.com) is the largest game convention in North America, taking place in Indianapolis every August (or thereabouts). A couple years ago, it sold out a day or two into the convention, had probably 80,000 attendees from around the planet, and cleared 30,000 events over the four-day weekend. Last month, it sold out about a week or so before the convention and probably had even more attendees and events than last year.

I've gamed with folks from Canada, Ireland, Poland, Australia, and China. There used to be a speed-dating event, in which a lady from Ireland met a guy from Seattle (they're now married and living in Seattle; on a side note, that guy is the Event Manager of Gen Con; and a guy from Australia is now married and living in Oklahoma). So, yes, it's quite possible to meet new friends from overseas.

Games run the gamut -- card games, board games, RPGs, video games, LARPs, and the past couple years, more escape rooms have been showing up -- and these games are very rarely just old-school, tried-and-true games; a lot of them premier at Gen Con. Nuts, you can even get in on playtesting (the shakedown cruises of games before they find themselves on a publisher's desk).

Gen Con also features comedy acts, music, podcasts, films, panels and seminars, and even burlesque shows. (I don't know if you know Matthew Lillard of "Scream" fame, but he's been there the past couple years with the "Faster, Purple Worm, Faster!" (or some such title) podcast.) You can even party with the Cosplay Deviants (cosplaydeviants.com) at the party they hold every Gen Con Saturday night ($50, last I remember; never been to one because it looks like it'd just be too loud and my hearing's almost gone as it is).

Almost forgot about the cosplayers and the costume contests. Oh my. I don't know if you know the female versions of DC's Hawk and Dove, but -- wow. I think I was lucky not getting busted by security for stalking them. I had a twenty-dollar ready for each of them...but somehow I don't think that would've help me out with security.

And if you enjoy auctions -- selling or buying, it doesn't matter -- that takes place Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Personally, I prefer playing games to sitting and watching the auction, but it can be fun too, especially if you see something of yours selling for prices you don't expect. A few years ago, a comic-book poster I put in at minimum of $5 went for $60. At last month's auction, I bought a kid's microscope from the late 1930s for $15 sold for $200, and a kid's erector set from the 1950s I bought for $40 went for $150. This sort of stuff doesn't happen a lot, but it sure made me giddy. livegameauctions.com

8 hours sleeping, hopefully 8 hours working, but usually scrolling the internet, playing games for a majority of that on slow days. 1 hour working out. Weight lifting 4-5 days a week. Cardio or active rest days the other days. Walking, biking, kayaking, etc 1+ hour cooking every day. Average dinner probably only takes 30-45 min but some can be longer. Plus cleanup. Lunch is typically leftovers which saves me a ton of time/money. 2-4 hours video games, watching sports, friends, strip clubs.

Mid 40s, 5.5-7 hours of sleep on weekdays, 8 hours at work, 1.5 hours commute round trip, usually 1-2 hours various household activities like eating, cooking and cleaning, maybe another hour family activities. 3-4 hours video games. 1 or 2 days are grocery shopping or something else instead of video games. Not getting enough exercise. SC are now sporadic, mainly cause I’m travel and time restricted, and also many clubs near me cut day shifts or rules changed or cost went up a lot. Quality can still be found.

Recently started TRT which is causing ED. So, until that’s sorted, to adult fun. Maybe as much as 6 months.

I'm all but retired from the strip club game. I'm a newlywed so the wife and I are screwing each other's brains out and don't need it.

  • 8-9 hours sleep. I've noticed the more physically active I am, the more sleep I need.
  • 8 hours work; work itself has been light so I've spent enough of that time reading political news and working on a couple side hustles, building a solo brand, and writing a book. I work remote so no commute.
  • An hour or so a day on physical activity (nerfed lately due to a slow-healing injury). Mostly weights and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
  • A couple hours a day or so on chores, eating, paying bills, managing finances, shopping, fixing things, all that shit.
  • The rest of the time working on said other enterprises or being distracted from it by chatting with friends, watching a show with my wife, or things like that.

Weekends aren't much different except no work, add volunteering, date nights, the gun range, or other time with friends.

I work 20 -70 hours a week depending; hit the gym 3-4 times a week; play poker 3 times a week; go to the farm stand once a week; cook; take care of a 1 acre yard with 1/4 acre of gardens and strip club 6-8 times a month although that is down and will continue to drop. just not as much fun any longer.

I used to club twice a week on average. Probably spent about 4-6 hours a week in the clubs. I’m now down to about 90 mins a visit and club only 2 times every 3 weeks or so, call it 5-6 hours a month. Increased responsibilities and complications of life coincided at the same time with the clubs becoming less interesting.

Since we’re logging daily hours:

  • 11 hrs a day working incl 30 mins round trip commute
  • 6-7 hours sleeping
  • 30-60 minutes working out 5 or 6 days a week
  • I cook and eat regular meals
  • weekends get filled with maintaining the castle or other hobbies
  • after work and on weekends I chill and watch a few hours of tv. I read the news at times during the day at work as it’s part of my work responsibilities

My schedule is pretty standard these days:

  • 7–8 hours of sleep
  • 8–9 hours working
  • Around an hour at the gym
  • 1–2 hours for meals, errands and chores
  • The rest goes to reading, movies, friends and whatever comes up

I’ve also cut way back on strip clubs. They just don’t do as much for me as they used to, so I gradually switched more toward escorts. It’s easier to fit around work and travel, and I prefer having more flexibility.

I’m actually in Hong Kong on a business trip right now, and being somewhere different has made me a little more adventurous than usual. I’ve started trying profiles that mention toys, which is definitely a change from my usual routine. Found a pretty straightforward selection hongkongescortvip.com if anyone is curious.
