Been with this site for decades. Submitted lots of reviews, paid when I was active. But have always been able to read at least one full review. Are things that bad? After MyRedBook there was a sense of community here. Guess that was long ago. Looking for one more visit to Crazy Horse SF. But no price info available for FREE????
I personally think Founder is pretty generous with the options he gives us for being able to read reviews. The "monthly" and "weekend pass" options are both under $10 at the moment, and the 4 weeks of free VIP for submitting a review that gets approved is a really cool way to encourage people to contribute additional reviews to the site...
I think some club listings might still have some bits of information listed, such as dance prices, that wouldn't require VIP membership to view? However, with the way pricing can change at clubs these days, some of that "summary" info could easily be out of date, so I usually just rely on reviews that look to be authentic...
Anyway, I can't speak for anyone else, but I appreciate the way Founder handles the VIP options. These days, it's probably tough to even get a kick in the nuts for less than $20... 😂
