Hee Haw, but on Netflix, so all the chicks with killer racks can be nekked.
Seinfeld
MAS*H was a really good show. The fact that main characters kept leaving kept it fresh. Although it was never fully recovered from Larry Linville leaving, or Loretta Swit turning into a sympathetic character. But, hard to bring back, since the show already lasted longer than the actual Korean War. Good thing I saw the show before the movie, as the show would seem sucky if you were expecting it to be as offbeat as the movie was.
A new Wild Wild West would be good with all the episodes steampunky instead of just occasional ones.
Alf
A totally off the hook version of Leave It To Beaver would be good. With Ward secretly frequenting an extras club. And June whipping and pegging Eddie Haskell.
The Sopranos for we can see how Tony met his maker (yes I know Gandolfini's dead)
When Tony's daughter became Heidi Fleiss, that kinda counted as a Sopranos sequel.
The Brady Bunch, with the kids all in their 20s. Peter goes too far with his Humphrey Bogart impression. He's arrested for working as a private investigator without a license. Mike and Carol disown him. Marcia, Jan and Cindy become strippers to have money to put in Peter's prison commissary account.
#1 is Magic city not even close (since Iām in Soflo now)
Others: Red Shoe Diaries Real Sex House of Lies Dream On Entourage Miami Vice Seinfeld The GFE P-Valley

Hogan's Heroes, except the prisoners are strippers. SanJoseGuy is Colonel Klink, and Icee is Sgt. Shultz. The strippers use the escape tunnel for Outside The Camp.
@shailynn Alf would be a good one!
Miami Vice
Simon & Simon
Mike Hamme
Taxi would be great, but to find a cast with that sort of chemistry? Not likely to happen.
Married: With Children
Firefly (pre-Serenity)
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Something along the lines of The Carol Burnett Show, especially if you can get a couple people like Harvey Korman and Tim Conway together
Okay, and the original Muppet Show. Three seasons just was not enough.
There are no shows I would bring back but there are shows I wish would have gone on longer than they did. At the top of the list would be the version of the Avengers which had Diana Rigg playing the Emma Peel character.
We've been stuck in reboot hell for years now.
Despite that, I'd say Married With Children set in the 2020s could be interesting.
@PhantomGeek: "Firefly (pre-Serenity)"
You might be getting your wish on that one.
@georgmicrodong, Crossing my fingers, man.
@phantomgeek: Me too! "Firefly: Still Flying" allegedly in production now.
@georgmicrodong, Sweet!
Y'know, I wouldn't mind seeing a couple good anthology shows on TV, like the original Twilight Zone or the Alfred Hitchcock Hour. Just so much fun.
Lately I've been watching movies on tubi.com, rather than watching series. I mostly liked The Walking Dead and spinoffs. But, with alternate world-building shows that I like, they throw in too much soap opera type stuff. I guess to try to broaden the audience. I'd rather watch something that's animated rather than live action, if the plot is better. Hopefully at some point computer-generated animation will get super cheap. so that shows can be optimized for smaller audiences.
I don't know why they can't make "The Walking Dead: The De-Soaped Cut".
As much as I would LOVE a Married With Children reboot or maybe like a "Where are they now" sorta thing, I feel like it would be even more neutered than before.
In any reboot of anything, everyone under 35 would just be catatonically doom scrolling. Unless zombies have taken down TikTok.
If not Married With Children then how about that knockoff Unhappily Ever After with someone as hot as Nikki Cox before she ruined herself with plastic surgery š
Wings
Rockford Files
Mike Hammer has to be the official TUSCL favorite PI show. It out-boobed all the others, by far.
@SleazyPerv, Rockford Files is coming back. David Boreanaz (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Bones, Seal Team) is signed to play Rockford. I don't remember if he's playing Rockford's son or the original character though.
Makes me wonder if they'll try to update the classic opening of the answering machine. That was always such a great start to the episode.
Never seen Mike Hammer, and with my by-line, I probably should have.
Well, it was broadcast TV, no nipples. Not impressive now, with the permanent internet porn tusnami.
@sfrfox According to the article below, season 3 of P-Valley is ready to go. Just a matter of when Starz decides to air it.
Isn't SNL basically the same format as the Carol Burnett show?
@phantomgeek Answering Machine stsrt was the best.
JACK FM radio ripped it off.
Bosom Buddies needs to come back
Only maybe two straight guys living with a bunch of LGBTQ ppl.
Quantam Leap
Moonlighting
A good Odd Couple. Sure, there've been a few tries since the '70s, but Klugman and Randall really defined those characters and their chemistry.
@ibbaicnl, yeah, technically, SNL is a variety show, but, to me anyway, Carol Burnett was always light-years better.
Golden Girls
Set it at that huge retirement community in Florida where std's spread like wildfire.
