PONTIAC, Mich. – Northville man has been charged with a hate crime, aggravated indecent exposure, and disturbing the peace.
Police say Subi Saad, 53, made vulgar remarks about Islam and threatened two man by saying he had a gun in his car.
The incident happened inside a store at Somerset Mall.
Saad was removed and banned from the mall.
In the parking lot he shouted vulgarities at the officers, police say.
Later while incarcerated police say he exposed himself to the officers.
A hate crime is punishable by two years in prison and/or a $5,000 fine.
Aggravated indecent exposure is punishable by two years in prison and/or a $2,000 fine.
Disturbing the peace is a misdemeanor punishable by 90 days in jail and/or a $500 fine.

Hilariously, I always thought Subi was/is muslim. He is kind of a hot head (the Napoleanic kind), I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner.
