Don't seem to hear as much about these awards as we used to in my neck of the woods (PA/NJ). At one time clubs here used to promote when they were competing or won a category.
I do think it’s pretty cool that the strip club industry seems to be getting more organized and that this event seems to have more going on than past years with what seems like more participation. But every year, some immature part of me giggles at calling it an “ED award” 🤭
@nicespice At least Bob Dole isn't alive to hear you laughing about ED.
It's maybe as high as 90% of strippers who'd feel very conflicted if not full on negative about the publicity of winning a public award. But I can see how they'd cheer on those willing to be public.
My ideal of a good club is they only take enough PL money away from strippers for top notch security and keeping the place clean. That is, clubs should focus on meeting minimum standards. Not futilely trying to have stand-out features that are more appealing than T&A.
