I've got about a thousand Facebook friends.
So far, 20 deceased--14 dudes, 6 gals.
Kinda morbid for a Friday, but let's get into it.
So, one day, it crossed my mind that I could name a few dudes, just off the top of my head, that I knew who had died. But, I couldn't immediately think of a single lady I personally knew who died, off the top of my head. Felt like so many dudes I knew were dead and all these ladies were alive.
So I went through my friends list on Facebook and counted all the dead folks. I'm surprised I made it to 6 dead ladies; I couldn't think of a single deceased chick.
Only 20 dead Facebook friends out of nearly 1,000 friends shocked TF outta me. Thought the number would be way higher. I've been on Facebook for 20 years, too.
I'm pleasantly surprised. Everybody's still alive lol
Only one that I know of, and it's a cat. But a lot are classmates (I'm on the younger side, FB peaked when I was in school) I haven't talked to in ages.
