Very few postings the past month.

Is the economy making people cut back on their play time? Is the raise in rates for dances finally catching up with the clubs?

That’s a good thing.

No purpose in posting for postings-sake.

Unless there are new clubs popping up or new information to post on current clubs, there no reason to post.

I have noticed a decline in the number of customers at the clubs that I visit. Probably a result of a) economic pressures on many Americans and b) counter productive increases in the cost of private dances at many clubs.

I still visit clubs (albeit less frequently) but I don't write reviews unless I have something new to add to prior review.

I gave up strip clubs for Lent. So I haven’t posted anything recently.

I mean Meghan Trainor had to cancel her entire tour so that should tell you something about the economy!!!! (Sarcasm)

March was extremely busy for me. Finally getting some much needed club time tonight after work.

I have cut back on my "play time," but it has nothing to do with economics. My wallet is fatter today than it has been in six years. The talent level in clubs is bottom barrel. It used to be that I would walk into a strip club, even locally, and undesirable dancers would be the exception. If a club was loaded with fat, old, or ugly dancers, I could go to the other area clubs that had all the fit, young, hotties on staff. My recent visits, in Fort Myers, Clearwater, and Miami, have all been to find that most clubs have trouble hiring and keeping dancers that would rate higher than a 7. That is just not worth my time or money. Even my last visit to Dean's Gold was a disappointment (although it was a Monday or Tuesday evening, to be fair).

I see fewer customers in strip clubs who look older and wealthier, which I am guessing is the type of person who would look at a website like this. The decline of high spending customers has led to a decline in the numbers of very attractive strippers. The arrow of causation might point the other way, though. Fewer attractive strippers might be leading to fewer big spending customers in strip clubs.

@docsavage i dont think the causation works in the way you describe.

If the high spending customers are declining, that will affect the uglier dancers first. The more attractive strippers will be able to survive longer because they will continue making money.

The other causation scenario you mentioned also doesnt make sense. The economy isnt getting better, so attractive strippers wouldnt just stop sex work.

The reality is with a worsening economy, people in general are likely spending less on leisure activities like strip clubs. So less customers coming in. But this will affect the uglier strippers more so than the hotter ones.

But this is all besides the point. It isnt as a straightforward formula as attractive strippers make more money or get more clients. That might be true if you only focus on something like stage tipping or non extras dances.

Different dancers provide different quality level of services, including extras. Maybe the very hot girl only provides dances whereas an uglier one provides everything. The same could be true in reverse. In fact in my experience the hottest girls have provided more and better service than the uglier ones. I suspect it has something to do with self esteem or attachment issues with a partner where the uglier ladies are more worried about being loyal to their partner. Not sure

Besides all this, there are a bunch of guys who just pay girls based on the connection they build with them or being a good conversationalist.

I dont think its as simple as hotter girls make more money or are in higher demand. There are a whole bunch of things that go into strip clubs and what customers are looking for

Even with stage tips…my guess is the ladies that are the best performers on stage get the most stage tips. Which in some cases could be the hottest girl and in some cases not.

Some guys are there for a good stage show, some for a good lapdance, some for good company/conversation, some just to watch the stage, some for extras/sex.

This isnt something you can actually get reliable data on, either, because no dancer or customer is going to admit to buying or selling sex acts unless its anonymously.

So outside of personal observations at clubs, we dont know what % of guys are there just to stage watch, or conversation, or extras or just LDK lapdances or just regular lapdances etc. and in fact most guys probably wont admit theyre there for LDK or stage watching or conversation either since all those can be embarrassing as well

In my last outing, customer numbers were way down, dancer numbers were way down, and dancer quality was way down compared to ~6 months ago.
