Healthy cynicism in the hobby

You just have to always be ready to for things to go south in these clubs. At any moment. I'm not at all surprised went it does. I don't start off all ghetto, I'm friendly going in every time, very polite, all that but then again I'm always ready. All that goodwill you started with goes right out the window when they have the gall to try you as some easy target.

These dickhead staff members and these ripoff bitches can't help themselves. I think newer folks have to understand these people are not your friends and things can and sometimes do completely implode. You just don't want to be a deer in the headlights when it does. It always in the back of my mind. You notice how they turn on you real quick when you say yes to everything, well I do likewise. I got zero issues getting banned from any club in this country. I think there is a lot of weakness in trying to save certain situations/relationships, you know leave with nice feelings, I say fuck all that be than ready burn it all down, fuck it burn every single bridge. It was not meant to be.

I think I'd just rather hated and despised every stop along the way then be bilked night after night. I couldn't live with myself.

Shit dude, when I read the first couple of sentences I was ready to agree. You never know if the other customers are going to be fucktards, or some girl is going to be drunk or drugged out of her mind, etc., etc.

But then I saw it turn into a rant about dickhead staff members and ripoff bitches and you lost me. Not they they don't exist, but tbh I don't interact much with club staff and nowadays I find the ripoff bitches are pretty easy to sniff out. Idk, but usually these are way down on my list of worries compared to some other things.

It is a mistake to view any stripper as a friend. This is particularly the case if you are past the age of sixty. Except for a possible exceedingly rare exception, young attractive women would have little interest in any guy that old. They do not want to have sex with him or socialize with him when there are so many young men interested in them. If you are old, they are tolerating you as long as they see you as a potential source of income. I am not sad or angry about this. When I was young, I had no interest in much older members of the opposite sex. Strip clubs are businesses, the strippers are employees, and I am a customer they have to satisfy if they want my return business.

Docsavage and Rickdugan speaks the truth. As for me, as an old fart, I am not looking to make friends or have relationships outside of the club. but I always try to be friendly and upbeat and polite for as long as I can. I have been doing this long enough to more times than not to detect ROB early in the night. Even if I get burned, I try to act cool, but I make a note about them and never give them a chance to do it again. On the other hand, If a cute little thing clicks with me and does a good job, I will always try to see her again and again. Sometimes the magic works and sometimes it does not. Not use to get bent out of shape when it does not. Munddy makes a good point, far too many young dancers go to the quick score and do not try to make men into regulars. That's is stupid and too bad.

Muddy may also be saying experience is the greatest teacher of this hobby and if you know one thing is that if you cut bait you can always fish another day at a different watering hole. I’ve left a club due to many shakedown attempts by the staff trying to set expectations of tipping with hands off on the girls. Duck that, that kind of business model lasts a short period of time until girls realize that paying customers expect dancers to perform. If they don’t perform yiu move on until you find someone that will.

There are several in-between steps that happen between not dealing with grifters (what I interpreted as “dickhead staff members and ripoff bitches”) vs getting banned from a club.

@Muddy Considering how many places you have visited, what % of clubs do you believe fit what you are describing where you would risk getting banned for sticking up for yourself? (Instead of clubs that are merely higher priced or lower mileage, but not actively swindling) If it’s a long enough list, then some tusclers may enjoy reading an article posted that names and shames these clubs.

@nice idk but maybe like 5% clubs it's gets all all sour for some reason and but maybe like 30% clubs you can feel them breathing down your neck waiting eat you alive at these clip joints. Idk im just saying an us against the world mentality is I think is a good thing to have.

And at this point it's all kind of a blur looking I probably did too much. I'd have to really sit back think, parse through it.
