Some examples I tried think about places where you can see people hunkering down next to the strip club. I wonder if they were before the club and raised hell or they bought in after the fact.

Fantasies in Keyport, NJ. Not a cheap area. maps.app.goo.gl

NOPE. Unless it's a strip club located in Beverly Hills or whatever....

There is a plan in progress to build a 16 story building with 200 residential units and 7,000 square feet of commercial space in the vacant lot next to Vivide in Atlanta. If this plan comes off, how long will it be before they shut down the club.

There’s a little neighborhood between the highway and the RR tracks next to the Playhouse in Burlington NJ. If I lived there I’d be broke lol.

Being able to make a short walk back home while drunk would be nice.

The "good", or "shitty", depending on one's perspective, clubs in Louisville are in mixed commercial/residential areas. Residences are on the backside of the block, across the street, or next door at almost all of them.

The prototypical 2AMer clubs are in bad neighborhoods where I wouldn't want to live regardless of whether there was a strip club nearby or not.

About 25 years ago I used to live in the 1/2 mile stretch between the Deja Vu and a club called Rumors in a suburb east of Cincinnati. Neither of them were great clubs, but it certainly wasn't a bad part of town to live in at the time.

Only one listed I can comment on is Risqué in NE Phila. It’s in the shadow of elevated I-95. Closest residential is under the highway and four-track Amtrak/Septa line. Tiny, older row homes and twins. Most of the people who live there probably can’t afford to go to the club. I wouldn’t choose to live there and can’t think of another club I would choose to live close to. It’s not proximity to the club per se but the neighborhoods the clubs wind up in. OTOH, I try to make it a point to stay in hotels that are walking distance of clubs. Just stayed at an Embassy Suites that was 0.4 miles from Sirens in NE Columbus OH. Review to follow.

You know what I know me I'd probably get sick of it, I haven't been a regular at any club in years. But you know if it was one of those laid back bars that double as strip clubs, hell I wouldn't mind. Those are usually pretty quiet, problem is though that's why close down all the time.

I live like a 10 minute walk from my favorite spot HP. That’s close enough for me. I have never walked there but still close enough.

And manuel I could probably make a thread on those as well, the hotels, oh I would definitely do that as long as the price was right.

You know I feel like New Jersey got a lot of these, bikini bars must be a lot easier to zone in with the residential stuff. I know for a fact those houses can't be that cheap. And the property bill is no joke, your just not gonna put up with any bullshit in your neighborhood.

Well, at least when I take take out the garbage and decide to take a piss on my trash cans, no one will complain.

I used to live near three strip clubs and that was good. If you want a regular or two, it is better not to have one too far away, especially if you live in a place that has ice covered winter roads. I would never want a strip club next door, though, because of the late night noise.

Working a block away and having an office there that only had keys to would be fine. Something like Desire in RI or one of the manhattan ones.

Living? No way, unless perhaps something like Mickeys in Cumberland RI

And now that I think of it, living in Surfside N Miami Beach and walking to Bikini Bar would be cool

I used to play Dungeons and Dragons at some apartment complex that was nearby a titty bar.

If I were to live next to a strip club, I’d probably choose that neighborhood in Austin nearby North Lamar behind the Yellow Rose. There’s several good local restaurants around there. And the Asian grocery store options nearby are pretty nice too.

Rhode Island Dolls, in Woonsocket is actually in a residential neighborhood filled with 3 deckers. I think the ones across the street are actually closer than the one next door. The only possible way to live closer to a strip club is inside one.
