Newbee - SC Dress Attire Tips/Suggestions

Hello everyone,

I am completely new to the SC world and I'll be straight forward. What are tips/suggestions you have for attire to wear to a club? I'm much one to have style and usually dress more for comfort.

I wear a shirt with a collar, and pants that are a little nicer than jeans. Strippers generally put some thought into what they wear in the club. They seem to appreciated it when customers do likewise.

Depends. Definitely no jeans though if you plan on getting lap dances since the fabrics rough and they don't like zippers. A collared shirt is often a nice touch if the club is a little higher end. However for a local nude club thats run of the mill any clean shirt is A Ok. Some clubs have warnings on wearing Colors so stay away from red or blue. Many dancers compliment me on my cologne as I don't put too much but just enough of a nice scent

Just don't look like a slob. Take a shower and wear clean clothes.

It's really going to depend on the club you go to, too. Sort of look at it like you're going to a restaurant; you'll want to dress differently for a McDonald's than a 5-star restaurant (although I'd still avoid the full suit-and-tie approach). Me though, I'm a bum. Jeans, a snarky t-shirt, and a flannel (or similar) shirt, no matter the club I go to; I still haven't had any problems at any of the clubs.

But in addition to avoiding gang colors, on major sporting nights, try to avoid any clothing that reflects the teams. Some clubs will even stipulate that.

I just wear what I normally wear, neither too formal or too casual. The only clothing issue I have is that the buttons on my shirt have gotten caught a couple times on the fishnet stockings of a stripper. I dress like a normal old White guy and that is not the type of clothing that would get me banned by a strip club. I always put on clean clothes before heading to the strip club.

Strippers love it when you cut to the chase and wear basketball shorts with no underwear.

Showering and wearing clean clothing is more important that the type of clothing, although some clubs prohibit athletic wear, and even shorts. Clubs with dress codes will often make the dress code known on their website, and if they don't have a website, they probably don't really care what you wear.

I am surprised about the comment regarding sports teams' clothing. Philly clubs wouldn't have any customers if they had that rule.

Appreciate the info. I have heard Basketball shorts were always a hit or miss if allowed (and the no underwear ... yeah never could tell if people were serious).

Usually for me I wear cargo pants and t-shirts.

If you nut during a dance, and your jiz soaks through and gets on her, a lot of non-extras strippers will avoid you after that. Word will spread, it won't be just the one.

@funonthaside, with all of the drinking, testosterone, and sore losers, fights are very well possible, so I'm guessing the clubs are trying to get ahead of that problem.
