I notice if you post something that is right up someone's alley, despite not hearing from them for months or years, you might see them chime in less than 2 seconds. What it is that? But what about those who don't even a have profile, maybe they just read. Maybe we aren't alone. It's a little creepy actually. There might be more out lurkers out there than actual participating members. It's all been just one big Truman show for depraved perverts all along.

I kinda wish @founder would add view counts to reviews/discussion posts. That way even if no one comments/interacts you still have an idea of how many people are seeing it.
Elon added view counts to X and it was a solid feature upgrade.

I know many guys that have stopped posting but when I check their page I see that they were "last seen" recently. Various reasons but the number 1 issue is the constant arguing over political stuff. I also know of at least one that wants to remain anonymous. There are probably a lot more.

There certainly are lurkers. A rather complimentary review that I wrote a few months back was mentioned to me by the woman I wrote it about when I saw her next and she thanked me for the compliments. She told me that many of the girls check in here regularly.

10-4, I was just curious … I heard a rumor from a PL that was afraid of TUSCL member list being busted by the authorities but I think that’s crazy talk. It’s just old dudes describing clubs and dancers and apparently ranting about politics. There’s plenty of websites out there that literally solicit prostitution. I’m guessing that’s what gets their attention.

I think there are a lot of lurkers. I hesitate to get too specific about what dancers will do since some of the lurkers might be vice cops or strip club owners. I would hate for a girl to get arrested or fired because of something I said. I never really lurked here, almost immediately becoming involved in the discussions. I do lurk on YouTube comment sections. Just too lazy to become involved.

Muddy, I think you also have guys like me that don't club very often anymore and therefore don't have VIP access to read the reviews. I wind up logging in and looking around when given a heads up or when I haven't been on in awhile. Agree with Shadow that the political stuff gets boring on a strip club website. I just ignore it for the most part.

I'm one of those who generally read but rarely post, mostly due to life changes. The only local club washed away a year ago by Hurricane Helene and the nearest decent club is over 2 hours away. I also have a retired wife so disappearing for 6 hours isn't really an option. Plus I get tired of the bickering here, political and otherwise.

The simple fact is that the political crap here, is no different than everywhere else. It fills in the time/space on the board because if people were honest, discussions and articles last had a new subject 10 years ago. All retreads. The reviews are the best thing about the site and if you notice most of the people who are into the political bullshit don't review clubs at all. Icey has maybe 5 reviews lifetime, with none in 5 years I think. I admit to being the outlier since I do both, but society is eroding and this place is no different.

@skibum609 The Stripclubs subreddit (reddit.com) manages to stay on topic and never once mention politics. This isn't a case of "society eroding" (which it arguably has been since the 70s), it's more the fact we have several members who seem to get off more on arguing with each other daily than they do discussing women and clubs.
Look at every discussion post that has 50+ comments. It's not Smash or Pass. It's not discussing hot chicks. It's Charlie Kirk. It's bitching about the Super Bowl halftime show. It's grown men whining about how nothing's as good as it "used to be"

Sorry if it was much, much better to be a guy when we grew up than it is now. Not everything was better, but women were and the country was patriotic and much better. Society started declining after Reagan. In the 80s Reagan brought back pride in being an American and now we have a political party dedicated to everything but Americans.
Further, older people are used to fighting openly about pretty much everything. We're not going to cry if someone spews shit, but we're not going to take it. Anyone who mentions my wife in a negative manner is going to get verbiage beyond the pale and I haven't even started on people's children yet. That is my rule everywhere on-line and in-person it is far worse. I do not care what others call me.
We can disagree, but to me Reddit is the ultimate weakling pity party, thin skinned, wah, wah, wah site. They cry over spilt milk, so they can never ever get to fighting over politics.
No one who doesn't do reviews should be allowed to post. The content need not be regulated, but posters who do not review clubs, shouldn't be allowed to post contebt.

What I dislike here are the nasty personal quarrels with insults passing back and forth. I do not socialize with the other customers in strip clubs because we are all there to see the girls but it is nice to talk to them here. Getting off topic sometimes into sports, music, food, politics etc. is fine with me.
