That over the last month the ROB attitude has disappeared, and dancers are providing far better contact and companionship than just a few months ago? Economy? My last 5 visits to strip clubs were to vacant clubs as in 6 customers in Desires for the game last night.

Yep, it’s a sign of the economy.

I had the exact opposite experience at at club that we both frequent. Lap dance quality is down, and song miscounting is up.

^ I had that experience at the Boardroom 6 weeks ago, but the last 2 times there it had stopped. My last 3 trips the dancers have been getting nude on song one and the contact level has gone off the charts, with last Thursday night being my best trip ever that locale. Desires and the Foxy were the same last night, devoid of customers.

Has to be some positives to our government being either economically illiterate/incompetent (take your pick), or worse, intentionally dragging us down.

^ I pick neither. Hard workers always do well regardless of external economic conditions. Further, short term pain for a long-term benefit is what successes do.

Millennium appears to have walked back some of their price increases, so that is something.

Should we sell all of our stocks? Asking for a friend.

they say strip clubs are the first to show signs of a recession. Well, from what I've seen lately we are headed there. Lot of girls lowering their prices, complaining that while the clubs are still somewhat busy the guys just aren't spending money like in the past. Inflation is still out of control, tariffs, etc. I myself am spending less time at the club than previously.

Mate: There a lots of countries that have stock markets and sane governments. Moving to euro-denomiated funds has gained me 10% so far this year from dollar devaluation, on top of 8% earnings and and 12% price gains.

I’ve gotten those returns from the domestic markets this year as well. Where I shall run and hide is unknown at this point, maybe put it all in treasury bills. Hell with the government shutting down next week, even those safe investments have risk.

I was in several of my go to spots in Atlanta last week. All of them were slower on customers than I’ve ever seen.

I look at gold prices for a more accurate measure of inflation and the indications are inflation is higher than the official government figures. We are entering into something like what we had in the seventies, stagflation. Whether it is strip clubs or something like overpriced coffee at Starbucks, people are cutting back on spending.

^ I keep telling people that compared to today, the 70's were financially miserable. I went to more house parties/potluck events in the 70s, than in the rest of my life combined. My guess is the fall/winter will be epic for Pls, assuming they have any money.

I was at Boardroom Sunday. Normally I don't get approached by that many girls -- they know me and know that I'm not going to pay for a room or get 6 LDs in a row. However, this time, I could hardly handle all the interested girls. There were a lot of guys just not spending, and I was no longer the low guy on the totem pole.

^I went for one beer after a golf tournament last week. Got there at 6:30 and was done and gone ...by 11. Every dancer was outgoing and 4 of the 5 I lap danced with provided not only a far earlier nude show, 3 in the first minute of the first song, but way way better contact than just a few weeks ago. Then again Foxy lady was great for Monday night football and I am not a fan of the place. The foxy had maybe 20 customers and Desires 10. 10-12 dancers at each place.

I have seen many August to December slumps at the Boardroom, but this one might be an all timer!

I am relatively new to this hobby, so I don't have an in real time comparison to other eras, as far as how an economic slump has affected SCing.

But within the last six weeks, I have encountered a couple of dancers who were going above and beyond.

One she was went totally nude during the lap dance when I had paid for topless dances.

And another I paid for three topless dances, she goes into a fourth one and tells me it's free. I did pay for all four plus tip, because I was feeling generous.

Both did the stripper's handshake, which I really liked and always feels good.

Every stripper I've gotten extras from did the stripper's hand shake, like that's the signal, the most direct pathway.

Earlier this week, a dancer I hadn't heard from in a little over two weeks out of the blue texted me to tell me that she was working that night. I will probably see her this weekend.

These are exciting developments.
