Clubs putting a freeze on hiring more dancers.

Can a club have too many dancers? What is the best ratio of dancers to customers. I'd prefer to have more dancers than customers. I get a better choice of dancers. True you might also get over run with dancers trying to make money but I'll live with that.

The original Follies had to limit the number of dancers on each shift in order to allow room for the customers. 1 more visit from the fire marshal and the might have gotten shut down.

I just heard that the new Follies has frozen the hiring on more dancers. I assume that it is such a tiny club that it wouldn't take much to fill up the room. Too bad cause the ones they have don't do much for me.

Maybe it’s not you, but it’s the sayings on your t-shirts.

I've heard of girls being told that, or at least girls telling me that's what they were told. I think some clubs say it as an excuse to not hire a girl for other reasons, and I think some girls use it as an excuse when they don't want to say they didn't get hired cause they're fat, ugly, or something else. I know I've heard that excuse from strippers only to see other new girls pop up a few days later, usually hotter than one who said they weren't hiring.

But at the same time, it makes some sense to limit the number of dancers at some point. I think a club around here failed to do that, it was a short term win for the club who got lots of house fees and for customers who had lots of options. But, I think it hurt the girls earnings and long term is leading to less & lower quality girls. Of course, there are plenty of other potential explanations for the decline so its hard to say for sure.

It makes sense that both dancers and customers benefit from having more of the other around. Dancers get more potential clients, more competition among customers… and vice versa. And yes if there are more dancers in the club, any one dancer has less of a monopoly and her earnings hurt.
But it also depends on how hot the dancers are… and how willing to spend the customers are. So in that sense a club could hire a bunch of ugly chicas for the house fees… the hotter dancers will still keep making money.

Clubs hire as many girls as they can. They want to collect the house fees and to make sure enough girls work because of no shows.

If they tell a girl theyre not hiring its a nice way of rejecting their looks

I hate clubs that have a lot of numbers but don’t control quality. That’s a recipe for annoying hussle.

Their is so much attrition in the stripper world that you can never have too many - this is coming from the perspective of someone that goes to the Providence clubs.....historically some of the best have been ghost towns of late.

If there are too many strippers in a strip club they can become overly aggressive competing for the customers so it is possible to have too many. If you see a strip club with high stripper turnover, that is also a sign the club has a ratio of strippers to customers that is too high and each stripper can't make enough money. Some customers like regulars so a strip club should make it possible for at least some girls to make a career out of stripping instead of staying a week or a month.

I don't think they can ever have too many. Only makes it a buyers market for us. The opposite SUCKS.

What I've noticed is they will put a quota on Friday and Saturday night shift. Other shifts tend to work themselves out.

The market seems to work pretty well aside from clubs occasionally needing to force or encourage girls to come in when it's slow.

Has anybody had trouble getting into a strip club because it hit its occupancy limit? Never happened to me.

There are multiple factors in this statement. A lot of the reasons have been brought up. The first is that it's an unattractive girl. Most of the reasons are club dependent.

Phoenix has bare pickings for dancers in the summer other than regulars. Attractive girls we be fed this line in the summer so that the regular girls can make money.

For the customer, the more the merrier. Clubs also need to consider hot girls that will walk if they have a hard time making money with so many dancers.

I've heard girls that work in Vegas say the make more money on stage than VIP. Vegas is known for many dancers.

It's all club and regional reasons

I don't know if a club can have too many dancers, but it is clear some clubs think they can have too many at once. One club I remember always had a cap on the number who they would let dance and probably still does

It's not a routine thing, but yeah I've seen E11ven and Scarlett's with literal lines outside waiting for people to leave before they let more people in.

^ I've seen similar at a few clubs, but I assumed it was the club strategy just to be exclusive and create a buzzy atmosphere.

Clubs will say theyre not hiring to nicely reject a girl. Otherwise they want as many as they can get on their roster. The more girls the more the club makes off house fees, bottle sales, vip sales. Plus they need to be covered because of so many no shows. Which they fine and make more money off of
