This issue never occurred to me, but this week the manager of my local club brought it up. She told me that the club was slow all summer during the day, but it was about to pick back up as many of the moms were returning to dayshift.

Never noticed single moms taking summers off. How do they pay their bills? In my experience someone babysits the kids, they head to work year round.

They sometimes get grandma to baby sit but one recently told me she pays a baby sitter $100/day.

I've never noticed a trend. Most of the kids of the dancers I know aren't of school age anyway. Around here, day shifts are usually like noon-7 while grade school runs 7-2 or something. So its not really like there is much overlap between working hours and school hours, doesn't seem like it would make a huge difference.

Florida clubs can be slow during the summer since our wealthiest residents are “summering” at their other homes to avoid the heat, humidity, and hurricanes. As a result, I know of several local dancers who travel to other places during the summer to work where they can make more $$.

I have met more than a few married MILF strippers who stay at home with the kids in the summer, then "moonlight" from mommy/wife duties at the strip club while hubby is working.

For this group, day shift ends around 2:30. They need to make bank over a 3 hour shift. It can make things interesting for customers. If you are a regular, and have a few favorites, club visits can be very efficient.
