A better benchmark for Iraq: Strippers

"Monterey, Calif. - How are we doing in Iraq? To help answer this question, the United States government came up with 18 benchmarks for progress. For me, 18 are just too many. I favor the "KISS" principle: keep it simple, stupid. So I propose one simple benchmark to replace them all: the number of Iraqi lawyers and the lawsuits they file." http://news.yahoo.com/s/csm/20080729/cm_…

Mr. Douglas A. Borer has his idea of progress, which is disgusting, imo, but at least it is a real attempt at measuring the well being of community.

The real benchmark is strippers. :) When stripclubs reigned supreme along W. Dixie Hwy those were the days of cold beers, naked women, and plenty of guns. I knew, for me at least, those were the good old days as tough as they were. With those 3 mighty meterics of freedom it was easier to overlook other negatives in surrounding areas. Alas, stripclubs and strippers don't live exempt from the pressure and caprices of the outer community.
