Of course, there are exceptions. This one stripper was crazy about me in part because I didn't have a roving eye---she was a 10 and the other dancers weren't attractive.
My understanding is that neither gender is generally monogamous, but one gender is much better at being hypocritical about themselves and their expectations of what other people "should" want, than the other gender is.
