State of Strip Clubs/Illinois

Now up is Illinois, which I pronounce with a hard S. Anything to say about the Land of Lincoln?

My experiences

Lead it off with Chicago. Really in the city all those clubs are terrible mileage wise. Admiral you can find some pretty girls not much contact though. Ricks and Deja Vu, lame as all fuck. Just out in the suburbs Carl's Bar and All stars are cuban joints. Uncle Paulies in Glen Ellyn there might be one 50 year old dancer in that dive bar. And blackjacks in Elgin it was like $40 for some lame dance, I didn't like that place. Out in Somonauk is High Heels off the boat latina heavy, loud music, $30 dances it wasn't for me. My recs for the area would be Scores and Gold Room and Polekatz out in Bridgeview. None great but not awful. Heavily mentored one way at Polekatz but they usually got a lot of girls and some look pretty good so I like it.

Ottawa- Lamp Lighter and Silver slipper saloon, talent not that great at both IMO. Awful at the former.

Rockford a place called Bigfoot, lame talent

Springfield. Deja Vu same thing, chunky fat chicks

Peoria. 4 clubs. Big Al's is like the big high flying club but downtown Peoria where's it at is pretty rough at night. Dixe Rose small sort of dive bar club with more veteran dancers and friendly crowd. And then Pony and Club Cabaret are heavy extras clubs.

Champaign Urbana. Silver Bullet Bar. Big college town and a lot of college girls working here (although not really the hot ones though tbh) dances are $20 a pop out in the open basically, two way touch, that's all it is.

Out in rural Illinois Negoa you got the High Rollers Club which is an old school. Extras possible, girls not great looking though.

Carbondale JB's it's some shitty dive place.

And then for St. Louis metro they go to the Illisnois side for strip clubs. East St. Louis, never been to those way too fucking ghetto for me but I hear you can get great deals. And then Washington Park/Sauget clubs which is one of the most expensive areas I've been to, you got girls asking $50, $60, $70 bucks for a fucking lap dance. Best looking girls are at Larry Flynts. I used to like Diamond in Sauget had some great times in VIP but I don't know if that's still available, I was there recently and asked about hooking up in VIP and these chicks were looking at me like I was outta my fucking mind. Maybe they clamped down.

Peoria is definitely overlooked on here for mileage. East St. Louis I'm aware is great value on those black clubs. If I'm in Chicago I'd probably say just go to the NW Indiana clubs honestly or I'd just head over to Polekatz I'll get my one way dances with a few different hot chicks, I'll take that, it's fine. Other than that not really a big fan of Illinois strip clubs.

Yeah good call I went there and Atlantis back in the day. Pretty dead at both, don't really have good opinion. Never got extras, I guess it's possible.

@Muddy - That is a damn fine list sir. Completely agree that IL is simply an overall awful state for SCs. I understand why the East STL clubs get so much love, but like you, I found them too ghetto for my taste (at least the few times I had gone). The only club I would add to your list is Club 390 in The Heights. In my opinion, it's not just a great club when compared to the other offerings in the shitty club state of IL, but it's a great club overall; never had anything short of a damn good time with each visit.

The two best clubs overall are 390 and Atlantis. People like Blackjacks, but it's completely meh for me. Songs are short, the place is dive-y, no alcohol, and massively inconsistent service -- if laps were consistent, I would feel good about this place. The next tier is Polekatz, Scores, and whatever new hires the rest of Stone Park can manage (I'm looking at you Gold Room). Stone Park is not known for extras, but I heard it can happen. Except for Scores, it's a lot of younger girls sitting on their phones (note, younger does not mean hotter). The only thing good about Stone Park is the proximity of the other clubs in the area. . The rest of IL that I have been to are flashes in the pan (e.g. Rockford, Peoria, Elgin belongs here). Nothing consistent, mostly chubby white girls. Any diamonds in the rough are going be cute GND types, mileage will be average at best (titty sucking would be a bonus). . Back in the day, East St. Louis and Washington Park were great, but unfortunately I never went (hot girls and cheap prices). Those I do know don't go anymore. @Muddy, if you can go to Paterson, you can go to East St. Louis lol. I've stopped going to clubs in shitholes, so I guess I won't be going any time soon. . TLDR: for possibility of extras and best overall, 390 and Atlantis (in that order). Polekatz has good lap dances (hopefully not, but prepared to be one way), no extras, but at least the girls are the most consistently hot. These clubs make it worth it to mine diamonds in the rough, but lately it's been more rough than anything. Overall, even these club pale in comparison to other clubs in the country which is why Chicago sucks to club.

Good to know fellas. And yeah chiefwiggum I haven't been to Paterson in a minute now, not a fan either. . I also should say I happen think Chicago is the best food city in America in my opinion. So I always spend a ton on food anyway, gain like 5lbs and always have massive diarrhea after too many italian beefs.

I have recently got back into the strip club scene in Chicago. I have met some lovely dancers at Gold Room in Stone Park so I keep going back. I had a pretty good evening at Club 390 in January but it is a bit far to drive back from after an evening out. Nothing quite compares to the two dive bars in Cicero from years ago.

@ilovehotblondechicks - this is the million dollar question. The guys I used to play poker with say that it's corruption, that is just trying to open the club in the first place. Then, it's hard enough to keep the license without the threat of getting shut down (and possibly paying more corruption to keep the heat off).
. There's like what 2 1/2 strip clubs in the actual city? I say 1/2 because I'm sure Deja Vu will close (Deja Vu sucks in the midwest) soon and be replaced with some equally underwhelming club. The only one that can survive is Rick's and the Admiral (OG place).
. Others I've talked to think that the city really doesn't want strip clubs. It was hard enough to get a casino here so maybe there is some truth to that.

Just curious, I see Heavenly Bodies, in Elk Grove Village by O'Hare Airport, is listed as closed. What happened to it? That was my second strip club ever, with my first being Admiral Theater. Third, FWIW, was Lamplighter in Ottawa. There was a dive bar in Cicero that was 4th. As for why Chicago proper is a bad strip club city, I vaguely recall they had an incident with someone who was an underage dancer back when the second Mayor Daley was mayor.

RIP Heavenly Bodies. I believe the owner died and the widow wanted it gone and sold it to the village. The village bought adjoining properties as well. Not sure what they plan to do with it. Was a place with great laps, strict rules, super cheap booze, some really good looking women and passable free food.
