There is a condition, sometimes referred to as "oneitis", that a number of younger males succumb to that involves thinking that some girl is so special that they can only be happy with her. Usually as guys get older they realize there are a number of women they can be happy with.

While this condition often happens in romantic relationships, do you think this also applies to strip club customers? I will see someone here starting a discussion looking for some lost favorite stripper. Rather than spending effort trying to locate a girl here where the chances of finding her are small I would just pick another girl from the strip clubs here in Indianapolis. Many of my favorites have sadly left but I realize this is not a lifetime career for them and am prepared for them leaving at some point.

Sure, but there's a lot of benefits to focusing on specific girls you enjoy. Saves money and saves time for two reasons. At many clubs it keeps girls you're not interested in at bay once they decide you're a certain girl's regular, unless they feel like going to war lol.

I'm the oneitis type. Why spend money on things I don't want? If I pick a dancer as a project I almost always get what I'm looking for unless I change my mind or run out of time. But I don't get stuck on a dancer once it's time to move on.

It does happen in strip clubs too, but theres an important distinction to be made. Does the guy just prefer going to one dancer within the same club, but still goes to other clubs, sees other dancers, or does he focus on only one dancer period.

The online term oneitis is usually referring to guys that get overly attached to one single girl. It usually is linked to an attachment issue, and also comes along with jealousy as mentioned. Some people think its a psychological problem. Sometimes its related to a lack of options.

Sometimes the club shift is slow, not many dancers are there. Or only one or two that are your type.

IMO it is one of the things the online dating sites are correct on. If you have oneitis it can scare the girl, or lead her to lose respect for you. Even within a relationship it can lead to a breakup

I am shocked that even these days some people will get married after only dating one person. (Let alone fuck anybody else.) I am sad to see it when it happens. Damn. Open your horizons. Take advantage of the times you live in. Learn what the options are.

When young women do it, I assume they think their pussy stinks. And they found the one man in the world who can't smell it.

But even experience can't save us from ourselves sometimes. One brother of mine was dating two girls. One looked like Sally Fields, and had a personality to match. The other girl was a total bitch. He asked a third brother which one he should pick. And the third brother says: "What the fuck? The choice couldn't be more obvious. Sally". Of course, he married the bitch, and 20 years of misery ensued.
