I’m back in Pattaya Thailand. Or some reason I can’t stay away.
My destination was Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. However, when I saw how close Kuala Lumpur was to Bangkok, I left 10 days early, giving me some time in Pattaya.

Man, the only reason I don't want to go to this place is the same reason I warn other mongers to avoid Tijuana: once you go your life is going to revolve around going back.
And I already have my hands full with a serious TJ addiction. Thailand is way further away and I'm too busy for a Pattaya addiction. This will have to be a spot I explore later in my mongering career when I have more time on my hands.

I was in Pattaya on the Gulf of Thailand at the time of the quake, having a meal with a gogo dancer I met the night before. We felt no tremors. Thank God, Walking Street was safe. Bangkok had a building under construction collapse, resulting in some deaths. But the earthquake was centered in neighboring Myanmar, where there was extensive loss of life.
