Trip Report 2/24/25

This will just be a general trip report and not in depth review of each club. @Zbott already has a review of HK. I might write up reviews on HK, BT and CC if I get to it.

Flew into SD late morning, Monday 2/24. Got on the 992 bus and took the Blue Line down to San Ysidro stop. I walked around to see what the best rates were to convert dollar to MX pesos as for the first time I was interested in using pesos for Oxxo purchases or to paying at the restaurants (Azul, etc). After looking at 3-4 outside signs with their buy/sell rates, I decided just to use US dollar like I always do instead of converting. Everywhere was over 20 for 1 rate on this day.

Walking up to the crossing, I went through the turnstiles to the customs building and the back of the line for foreign citizen entry was only a few feet from the turnstiles. I have not seen it this long before. The other line, for Mexican citizens did have a person requesting to see documentation like a Mexican passport to walk through. There were only 2 agents processing. Eventually a third agent came which I guess should have increased throughput by an additional 50%. The line was about 30 minutes. I thought it was going to be longer so this didn't feel that bad. When I finished processing and started walking, I noticed someone with an US passport tried to go through the Mexican citizens way to avoid the line. He was stopped and told to go back and opened his passport lying flat and there was money in there hoping the guy would take it but the older gentleman just closed the passport after seeing the money and pointed him to the back of the line.

Unlike Zbott (just an hour later) and others, the last 3 or 4 trips, I can never find the HK shuttle. I went to the parking lot, through the gates, down the street, through the parking lot and in front of the HK booth. No shuttle. While looking for the shuttle, there was someone standing there saying I need to be on the otherside of the street to wait for when the shuttle drives by. By now, I was thinking of taking a taxi. So he waves his friend and the guy comes, "taxi to Hong Kong?" I said yes, "how much?" He said, "$10". I respond "$7" and then he said, no "$10." I asked "where is your car?" He said, "in the parking lot back there". I said, " no thank you, I'm ok, I'm going to wait for the shuttle". As he walked away a taxi drove up and I asked how much to HK? He gestured for me to give a quote and I said "$7" and he smiled and said yes, I'll take you there.

I get to Cascadas around 12:30pm. The front counter and lobby area was not busy. There were two customers at the counter and by the time security went through my luggage, one of the two left and I walked right up to the counter get a room. I asked for a couple of rooms by number on the upper floors but they were not ready or taken. They had one on the 6th or 4th floor so I took the 6th. Of course and thankfully @Zbott comes an hour later and the upper floor room became available which was great because many complain of music on the 4th floor. He got an 8th floor room which is a bit tricky since the front elevators only go to the 7th floor. I was also glad there was a floor buffer as I tend to have friends over really late in the night to play. Oh for the first day during the day, the front elevator was broken so you have to walk up to the third floor with you luggage. The front elevator was operational by night.

After Zbott got checked in, we had planned for lunch at Azuls. We also planned to meet @Pafbabs there are he hasn't ever sat on the balcony to watch all the street action in the alley. Once we got to the balcony, the restaurant now has installed sun shades to block the direct sun light into the restaurant but it also blocked the view to the street. Ugh! The weather was perfect, low 70s yet the view was blocked so when Pafbabs came, he didn't get the full experience which was unfortunate. Not too much later we decided to go to HK.

Monday afternoon and 3pm, HK had a lot of seating available. On the balcony that overlooks the main stage area, there were only 4 other tables being used besides us. There were even fewer chicas than I remember from other Monday afternoons but still plenty of quality choices. The environment was super chill by HK standards. Pafbabs and I commented that we liked the pace and environment this way compared to say Friday night. I met 3 chicas and all were really good encounters this session.

My timeline might be a bit off but I'm pretty sure it was later on Monday night, Zbott and I visited Dolce & Gabbana. We got a shot before going in and I believe there were a whooping 3-4 chicas in there. So it was a quick U-Turn out. Then I believe we went to BT. For both Monday and Tuesday, BT had around 30 chicas, so plenty to play if interested.

We did walk to check out La Gloria and there were only about 5-6 girls in there, so another pretty quick U-turn back out to Chicago where I think we took another shot of tequila before going in.

I ended up going to Chicago twice this night and both times I found really nice chicas with great attitudes. Zbott went with me the first time and I went solo later that night and met what I think is a gem. We had a lot of fun that night. I screwed up and didn't get her number thinking I was going to see her on Tuesday. I wish I could call the bar to get her number...lol. Ugh

Tuesday at noon, HK just opened up the main stage area from cleaning. I'm guessing there were about 25-30 chicas but in LC there was a line of another 15 or so ready to come in it seemed. Again, met another good attitude, high service friend this session.

Later around 2:45 we left Cascadas as, Zbott and I decided to check out Chicago, it was dead so we went to BT. For 3pm at BT, there were some quality fun to be had. Due to different circumstances, both Zbott and I were not going to session with a chica at this time, just to get a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. Yet with that being said, one Filipina/Mexican gal took a liking to Zbott and was pretty wild in her talk. She was fun and probably the talk of the trip for us. Unfortunately Zbott had another 4pm commitment and couldn't continue the story with her.

Tuesday night we were back in HK. It was normal nighttime busy, all tables taken. Miami lounge (smoking room) was packed.

I was planning on going back to find the gem I mentioned at Chicago that night but when entering HK by the rear entrance with Zbott, got a big surprise and grand greeting from one of my favorites in HK. She seemed shocked and excited I was there and I was surprised because she wasn't there Monday night. So ended up in HK the rest of the night with her after a quick visit to BT again with Zbott. Honestly I don't know how Zbott was standing by then with all the action since noon and all the alcohol consumed. I took a nap when he went to his 4pm commitment, he had no rest.

Looking back, this trip was an unusually high "hit rate" of attractive chicas with fun and great attitudes. Normally you have to weed through more duds (cut bait) but this trip, I just got really lucky which was the complete opposite of the first night on the previous trip.

I have met other contributors like @OpIllini, @RonJax2 and @Pafbabas (this trip ) but this was the first time I had a wingman for the entire trip in @Zbott. It made the trip so much better because in between sessions with girls, we hung out everywhere and that added a lot to the experience. As I joked with him after the trip, I appreciate having a guy help me wipe shaving cream off my back and shoulders (all over my shirt) from a handsy chica. Only in TJ those words mean anything.

Had a great time with you as well @Justinyoo. Thanks for putting the shaving cream cooment in context as others might be like, “what the ???” Was a great hang and great write up. Was fun to see who got the wilder chicas at each spot-total luck of the draw!! Look forward to another hang in the future!!

Times that I have not found the Zona shuttle I would take a ride on a Ruta bus going to centro. Last time I did ride one they had raise the fare to 14 peso from 10 peso . I don't carry any luggage so it's easy for me to deal with this. the ruta Bus will drop me off usually on Constitution Between third and second. Then it's about a three block walk to the hotel alley entrance. Sometimes I'll make a pass through Calamax store or Oxxo and pick up some water. (and maybe some adult beverage.)

I haven't been in a taxi in years. And when I did I would not pay over $5 for that short ride.

justinyoo- Great trip report, I enjoyed reading it and thanks for sharing👍🏻

It’s always nice seeing other fellow mongers enjoying clubbing out in Tijuana, with a high ‘hit rate’ of attractive chicas and having great attitudes too. In brief, a highly successful trip 👌🏻
