Alabama, Texas, Georgia please take note, if you hire an ex-NFL head coach as your offensive coordinator and spend a boatload in NIL money you too can win a national championship in this new era.
Most OSU fans will deny it but losing to Michigan was the best thing to happen to them this season. It got them out of the Big10 title game, and lit a fire under their ass and they weren’t challenged until part of the 4th quarter last night during their entire playoff run. That bomb on 3rd down was brilliant, I have no idea what ND was thinking because I think most people saw that play coming.
You could say the same about ND losing to Northern Illinois earlier in the season. They knew there was no margin for error after that loss. If they would have played OSU like they did Georgia this game would have been much closer.
CFB Playoff committee did a horrible job scheduling that game right between NFL Playoffs and on Inauguration Day. A lot of people outside of Ohio and Indiana forgot about last nights game, which is a shame no matter who was playing for the title.
They will have more issues down the road than scheduling after what Carson Beck and Miami just pulled.
^I will explain it to you as I would any other 8 year old. Since college football started letting the players cash out, switch schools etc., they are no longer amateurs, just low-level professionals to real football in the NFL. College is now the minor leagues, just like baseball has them. Ohi State won the meaningless minor league football championship. The Mud Hens, should they win baseball's minor league championship, which doesn't exist, would be the minor league baseball version of minor league Ohio State. Capisce?
