As sad as it is, this was most likely (at least it seems) to have been done by a delusional leftist who thought it would make some kind of super awesome political statement.

I am all for some sort of peaceful resolution to the Gaza situation, but personally... that is a nice outcome well beyond what happens closer to home.

My priorities are:

• improve life for as many people as possible IN the USA...
• other good things in the USA...

...somewhere way down the list...

• support a peaceful settlement in Gaza

These Gaza protesters are the "Bernie Bros" of this election... so laser focused on one minor thing that they ignore the damage they do to the larger cause.
