Millstream Food Feedback Discussion
Millstream prides itself on its food, with their partnership with a local butchery, and their food specials. Right now, the website's menu page is down and I haven't been there in awhile but why not put a place to discuss our favorite club's efforts at food. You know, for me, giving feedback in da club when it's busy, or even slow, is either impossible or you sound like a nut. But part of me roots for this place and I want them to improve, and it seems like at least the last management group cared, so why not do it here. who knows, maybe they read this stuff.
Generally the steaks have been great. The Thursday night Steak Night, however, is hit or miss as they seem to wildly vary what they actually put on the plate, it could be a foot-wide 1/4inch thick, sliver of meat or a righteous thing. I would suggest they just go to something reliable like skirt steak or hangar steak. The salad it came with was ok, don't get too fancy guys, with unpalatable fancy green shizz...although if you want fancy do a small wedge.
The shoestring fries are the tits, get them on/with everything.
I thought the chicken tenders were bordering on really good.
Two problems, the batter was too salty but great texture and the chicken itself was generous.
The second problem is the sauces. I've had a few goddawful sauces. The honey mustard tastes like it came out of an old kraft salad bottle very uninspired almost not worth it. I remember one wing sauce was radioactive red sugar and I was like "this doesn't seem right."
When they do celebrations and have buffets or whatever, they do go all out with raw bars and other real food.
Anyway, that's all I got for now, next time I eat there, if somethings off, I'll shout out. Any thoughts from fellow millstreamers?

I also like their food, but don't like the menu price increases over the past few years.
Millstream's ownership owns the beef farm that supplies the Millstream kitchen and another plain restaurant called Woodstock Inn. Seems doubtful that Millstream would garner the prime cuts in the restaurant hierarchy, but still not bad.
I assume it's new management because the thing about the mill is they're usually having fun, more so than other clubs, you know: costume parties and buffets. But not recently. IDK, maybe put Desira in charge of events, she'd keep the website updated.
Aside from a few birthday parties for the girls, no real events this year.
On the upside, the smashburger was pretty good based on a recent visit.
As a place that is merely just a "bar with strippers", those prices are a bit much.
Even with those dumb signs all over the place, the girls still expect you to match the club's dance price and maybe a tip on that. Maybe figure out a way to list dances with the tip included, like list prices like 30 minutes 300(175/125) to show 175 for the club/125for the girl's tip which could ease sticker shock when a girl wants 175 plus the club's 175...
The $22 girl drink is a random thing that hits you depending on when you're sitting with the girl, right? They have to sell one...or is it each punter has to drop 22.
On the dancer drinks, the girls have to get a customer to buy one for them. I think it’s only one drink per shift but it might be more. They’ll either ask if they can have a drink, or the bartender will ask. The customer can always say no. Just know ahead of time it will cost $25 incl tip and the bar will give $5 back to the dancer. I find that gimmick annoying but I’ve made my peace with it. I buy less drinks now.
They also made a point to state that they are the only club in the area complying with the law regarding employing dancers.
so the girls are technically wage, not tipped, employees but...these girls are being polite to you and naked on stage for $50 a week.
The issue with matching tip in advance, though, at least for unknown girls, is that you pay double for a mild LD, when you can drive a few miles and have an open menu.
I think its fine if a dancer wants to set their own prices or have obligatory tips if they inform the customer upfront.
