It seems he's suggesting that if the Republican party thinks that Trump is their best representative of conservative politics, it resembles some parts of the definition of a "cult." To be clear, I don't think VP Harris is the best representation of liberal politics either, so maybe they're doing the cult thing as well.

Sowell was a zoo animal. He presented himself as being more moral, conservative, refined and sophisticated than the stereotypical black guy… but when push came to shove he was essentially the black hitler.

Of course he doesnt genuinely believe this, because no one in their right mind would say its okay for someone to attack millions of Americans just because some american soldiers overseas killed a few thousand civilians.

I didn't vote for Trump in 2016 but after reading through changes of the Smith Mundt act of 1947 to the Modernization act of 2012 repealing some of the protective measures put in place following WW2 that the main stream media is not allowed to use propaganda on it's citizens and has been allowed to since 2012 through news, television and dissemination of information I started questioning much of what was stated specifically about Donald Trump and found not only was in in accurate but if you watch Congressional testimony over the last 3 years if proves that the media has not only been suppressing information but falsifying information to the public. Specifically the testimony of the two Journalist's in Nov 28th of 2023 that testified before congress. The media classifies trump supports as cult like but the fact remains that most who support him will not support him if he start violating constitutional rights. It's not the man or woman, its their ideas and the follow through of actions. Now before anyone references Jan 6th you better start watching some other documentaries on the issue because the media withheld considerable information that is not public information and has been for over 10 months now but people won't want to research that. The bottom line is that politicians are a part of the UCC structure as officers to the corporate bi-laws of our state and federal corporation before they're loyal to us as people. Trump was no a lawyer, politician or Judge so he connected to the BAR association so he was already out and threatens the very fabric of this structure and they know this. Study the 14 amendment and the UCC and you'll get a better understanding specifically UCC 9307 (h). Sorry long winded.
