This puts SCs and SC patrons that much more on the radar of city-county-fed prosecutors looking to get the big headlines. Be sure other DAs are seeing this headline and thinking their name on that type of headline could be a sure promotion.
I wish enforcement showed more concern for reaching out to dancers and sex workers and making sure they’re there willingly and that they understand their rights. The government says sex trafficking is their main concern.
However too often it’s used as an excuse to enforce a culturally prudish agenda. They should find and help actual victims who are in situations like the ones described in this article if they really care.
