I have a work trip to Cancun - strange place for a work trip I know. The club scene down there sucks, correct? I’ve looked at the reviews and the clubs rarely get reviewed and look expensive and bad service and quality.
Can anyone confirm or otherwise?
If Cancun is lame as I think I may just tack on a couple of days to fly from Cancun to TJ and back before returning to the US

Hey blah. Maybe someone that is Latino or Latina can comment but that’s my perception. I lived in Mexico for a year many years ago and I didn’t perceive people to be casually hooking up. Lots of mistresses on the side but those were committed, albeit adulteress relationships.
My perception of young Americans is that casual hookups are totally the norm and ‘body count’ is semi glorified. I have no qualms with casual hookups at all but things have gotten way looser over the last 20 years
They are good Catholic girls for the most part. Of course, I'm sure we all know how some Cafholic girls {mis}behave. I once worked with a girl would would dress for a nightclub, go to Saturday night Mass, then get blasted drunk at a nightclub afterward.
It's my perception that girls that you find at a Cancun nightclub late at night are NOT the well-behaved Catholic girls, so you may have a shot. And, there is also a chance that they are actively seeking out Gringo action, given that Cancun is a tourist destination.
The question is....if you're an over-40 guy, Will you have the tolerance/patience to deal with the likely annoying nightclub environment.
I recently received a tip that there are certain lounges in a US city that is known for civvy girls looking for free hookups. Not sure Cancun had that type of option, but also not sure that nightclubs are a viable option for many over 40.
