Recently hit a couple clubs right next to truck stops, truckers can walk on over and I used to be a regular at a club that was legendary for truckers on I-10, Red Parrot in Texas.
What have your guys experiences been at clubs near truck stops? Good, bad, ugly?
Ngl, Cafe Risqué in Micanopy FL always looked pretty intriguing and I had wanted to try out there one of these days for the novelty. Never been there tho
Why is it that every Cafe Risqué a some backwater no matter which state it's in? I think a Cafe Risqué in North Carolina was where a nekkid dancer squatted over my plate of eggs...
I stopped at two little ones. One was at a little truck. stop just the west side of Kingman Arizona and the other was east of Albuquerque maybe 30 miles or so. (been a while.) both were not impressive.
Decades ago I remember stopping at one down a country road from a big interstate truck stop near the GA-SC line on I-85.
The two dancers on duty both offered extras back at my truck. Too bad I didn't have a truck. I offered my car but they said they only do it in truck sleeper compartments.
I’ve been to a couple and not really impressed. Seem to be some Cafe Risques up and down the southeast interstates. The best clubs I’ve found are overwhelmingly in or around major cities. The closest to a good hole in the wall feel I’ve had was in Pasco Florida which is really still in the Tampa St. Pete area.
Goldmonger, I stopped at that same club once. I think 4 or 5 dancers, every one of them pregnant. I got dances from one or two. Nothing great and nothing extra offered at all. I guess I did not look like I had a sleeper cab.
At exit 39 on I-20 in SC, HillView Truck Stop has an adult novelty store located on the back of their parking lot called Lion's Den. I went once about 15 years ago. I just checked and it is still there. I have to wonder if there is more than just toys as it is out in no where.
Years ago I had some business in Gainesville so we stopped in Cafe Risqué in Micanopy, it’s right off I75, what a dump, two ancient crones, they are scary looking I noticed a sign advertising all day breakfast. We got out of there as quickly as possible.
The unicorn for PLs is a club like Porkys. Lots of hot women, cheap prices, and lots of mileage.
The reality is that the club would need to be near a major population center to have enough customers to justify the hot women. And, large population centers have plenty of nosy politicians and LE.
The closest we get is clubs in large cities located in unincorporated areas. The City of Industry in LA is an example.
I was traveling in middle of Spain about 10 years ago. Stopped for gas quite a few miles (km) from any city. Country side coulda been West Texas. Right next to the big gas station/truck stop was a huge bordello and hotel. Damn convenient!
I have been to several over the years most of which are closed now. I have found that a lot of truckers that get poor to mediocre service in many of the VIP rooms at these hole in the walls but would talk it up in old raviews on here because they just didn’t know any better.
One of the better ones I can think of is Filly Coral directly off of I-70, right next to a truck stop, about 45 min south of Pittsburgh. Well run club with decent talent (haven’t been there for over 5 years) but weird place. Girls do not interact with customers, it’s like they’re dissuaded to do so by management. I always thought management would be afraid strippers would do extras in the trucks getting the attention of local law enforcement jeopardizing the club.
Classy Chassy on the south side of Indianapolis was by a truck stop. It wasn't a bad club. It had a race car motif, including one car hanging upside down from the ceiling, in keeping with Indianapolis being home of the Indianapolis 500 auto race. It also had a friendly singing bartender. With the truckers stopping and there not being very many other options in that part of town, it survived for years.
The guy who owned it owned three local strip clubs and when he died whoever inherited it didn't do a good job of running it. Also, Indianapolis strip clubs in general have been slowly declining. It was sold and the new owner decided to turn it into a black strip club called Club Onyx. Following this were shootings, drug dealing and prostitution at the club. The police raided it and then the city government recently shut it down.
^ Classy Chassy used to be my favorite way back in the day. I believe it had two truck stops within walking distance and a real shitty chain hotel across the street
Can't seem to remember shit these days but for some reason 4444 Harding road exit 4 off of I465 and the exact mileage from the house house. Guessing it's forever etched into my memory along with the short 23 y/o blonde girl who must be around 43 by now. If only I had a time machine
Been to a number. Some of the Cafe Risques are closed but I often stopped for pie (I kid you not) on the way down south every month or so. Think it was the Dunn, NC location, which was in a dry county which likely hurt it. Really good food and I'm not someone who eats at clubs ever... I've stopped at the other ones and remember I used to get bed dances at the Darien, GA location (the last financial crisis killed it). Only Micanopy is left.

Club 516 has 10’s by comparison.
Red Parrot in El Paso was on my bucket list for several years I never got there and more recent reviews give it thumbs down.

Hah. I’ve heard that comparison before. Mostly thanks to wine.
