EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso police officers were forced to fire their weapons after an assault at a gentlemen's club in east El Paso early Monday morning.
It happened at the Jaguars Club on Gateway West and Lee Trevino just before 3 a.m.
According to police, two people were taken into custody and are facing aggravated assault charges.
Witnesses told ABC-7 they heard someone yelling "shoot me," then seconds later heard gunshots ring out. Witnesses also told our crews they saw a car try to flee the scene and later saw officers stop the driver then heard more gunshots.
Police said no was hit during the shootout however ABC-7 learned one person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Crimes Against Persons Detectives are investigating.
