The truth hurts, but if you accept it, it will set you free

The Constitution had flaws, noticeably on the slavery issue. However, it led to a good life for the average American. Life expectancy here went from the thirties in 1776 to the seventies two hundred years later. We were lucky to have the revolutionary leaders we had. Around the same time period France had Robespierre and his guillotine. Later on, Russia had Lenin and China had Mao. Currently, we are moving away from the Constitution and as we do that it is leading to poorer and shorter lives and less freedom for Americans.
You were part of the military in America; a Rich Man’s War and a Poor Man’s Fight.
Sorry to break it to you, Santa, the Tooth-fairy, the bogeyman, the Easter Bunny are all mythological creatures.
And just like religion and mythology as Thomas Paine, founding father of the US, said that organized religions, such as Christianity and Islam, are “pretending some special mission from God, set up to terrify and enslave mankind” and that “the priest is always in alliance with the despot”.
This is a great example of Americans’ Cognitive Dissonance historically holding two conflicting beliefs, values, or attitudes.
We the people of the United States need to desacralize the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Amendments; to expose popular myths about the so-called founding fathers who were British slave owners killers of natives, women and children.
Because these lies, for more than 200 years, have covered up the sordid and bloody reality that to this day represses women, Blacks, Native Americans and the poor of any color, race, nationality.
