6 Injured, 1 Dead after Greensboro Nightclub Shooting
GREENSBORO, N.C. —
Greensboro police have confirmed seven people were injured during a shooting at a nightclub overnight.
Officers have identified one of the victims as 36-year-old Cedric Monroe, who they said died from his injuries.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at Southside Johnny’s on West Market Street just before 3 a.m. Sunday.
Police said they found several people shot. They were taken to a hospital in stable condition and life-threatening condition.
Officers say there is no suspect information available at this time.
This shooting is now being investigated as a homicide.

Some people are too stupid to simply have a good time. The last time I was in this club was last August, there were customers sitting around smoking blunts in the open. I have no issue with weed itsself, but when management starts allowing it openly like that, it is inviting disaster, sooner or later.
