I bet that author waited all year to work the word insouciant into an article.

Didn’t read it, but based on my experience with a close friend who lived with strippers, needless to say it was a never ending shit show. We were in our 20’s, and they would fly into vegas sometimes to work while living in Phx. Anyhow, the old tried and true stories of strippers was real. They did drugs, brought strangers over to the house, and sorry to say many of the strangers were stereotypical black thugs who d have sex with them and things would constantly get stolen. I worked with him and he’s tell me the stories of not being able to sleep at night with the late night parties. Anyway, my friend had to survive living like this for 6 months to a year before he found a girlfriend 10 years older than him, and he eventually married her. He told me he was desperate to find a stable woman, and she was a nurse. Unfortunately for him they divorced 10 years later knowing he jumped into his marriage as a way to escape all the crazy shit. I partied with his stripper girlfriends a couple times, once at the house where Coke and even crack was out in the open, so I excused myself from the scene. Then they worked at Hiliter and Sonny’s, and saw them there, and of course they were friends with the local drug dealer everyone knew. The lifestyle is fucked up for these girls, but dancers in their 30’s and older usually get it out of their system and avoid that shit.

    Old Stripper Joke:

What does a stripper do with her asshole before she goes to work?
She drops him off at rehearsal.

    Tada!!!

I attempted to read this three times, I have no idea who this was written for but there was a lot of description with little substance.

@psd it seemed like that kind of article. I guess people see the word “stripper” and click, and that’s good enough as far as ad revenue goes.
