Should public libraries be open on holidays?

Don’t care who works holidays or not. I’m salary so of course I’d be an idiot to work them but my hourly guys who want more hours/money voluntarily work holidays.

No. And Wal-Mart finally got some sense and went back to closing on Thanksgiving. Let’s hope they continue the practice

I think if everything was closed on holidays we'd value them more. We need more parades TV programming school activities. Build community based on those common bonds. And holidays should be paid.

Libraries should be open 24/7 except in san jose

Those public book stalls are open 24 7. I've never seen one vandalized.

Holidays are set aside for corporations to make a buck. I agree things should shut down so people can appreciate them, even if you disagree with the reasoning for the holiday who is really going to complain about getting an extra day off?
