I found something like this in SWFL well before the 2019 date given in the article. It was dead, but only about a foot long. I just assumed it was native to this area. I should have notified the Dept of Wildlife & Fisheries.
So, some are teeny peenies and others are Mandingo sized? Sad to hear they also have similar size differences and issues as the organs they are named for…
