TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A man died early Friday morning at a Tampa strip club after he was removed from part of the establishment and shot while fighting a security guard.
The Tampa Police Department was called to Emperor’s Gentleman’s Club, located at 5718 East Adamo Drive, at 12:15 a.m. after shots were fired.
Police said he was ejected from one portion of the club and then pushed past employees to enter a restricted area. The security guard, described as a man in his early 60s, “engaged in a physical altercation” with him, according to TPD.
Police called over man allegedly photographing women running on Bayshore Boulevard The man repeatedly struck the security guard, who then fatally shot him. No arrests have been reported in connection to the shooting.
