Bill Maher

I’ve never watched his show and I used to think he was a bit of a prick - but the more I see clips of what he has to say, he really seems like a sensible dude.

He is standing up against woke-ism, radical leftism, toxic feminism, and the hypocrisy of cancel culture. Did he always feel that way or has he had a change of heart over the ridiculousness of progressiveness?

I like his shows. Got any link to good ones?

To take the words from his mouth, I think I saw this recently when he was on Adam Carolla's podcast but he didn't really change, the world changed around him. I mean if you look at the last 10 years only, a lot of extreme far left wing stuff has gone mainstream. youtube.com I thought that segment was pretty good.

I recall his former grossly misnamed program 'politically incorrect' where he and 2 or 3 politically correct guests would gang up on 1 conservative guest, it was anything but politically incorrect. I have seen snippets here and there where it appears that he's a little less leftist than he was in the past but I don't know, maybe it's an act and I haven't seen enough to form an opinion.

He’s a pretty-sharp-guy and I think he’s pretty-funny – he’s a liberal and can be a dick about-it many-times and likes to degrade conservatives; but I guess being a liberal doesn’t make you a progressive or even worse a woker – so he can often get-under-my-skin but I still find his sharp-wit entertaining and I give him credit for being one of the few liberals to have the balls to stand up to the woke-insanity.

It’s refreshing to see a guy who’s willing to call the BS on both sides.

Bill Maher is an idiot and a jackass. He called a friend of mine a "faggot" at one of his stand-up shows, because my friend told him that we came to see his act, not be part of it. He got boo'ed off-stage. He didn't stop to think that he was in Wrigleyville, in Chicago's very gay-friendly north side. Security escorted him out a side door to a car for his safety.

I don’t watch Bill Maher’s show. I don’t have HBO. I will watch clips from it when I hear he’s made some useful insights.

He put me off with some of his overly liberal rants years ago. His recent depiction of celebrities and their support of China was actually very good.

He's too conservative snd obnoxious

The guy is a left-wing loon, just not quite as looney as the uber-lefties who are currently pulling the strings in DC. He's probably closer to the views of most mainstream Democrats, which is much farther left than it was a few years ago. However he's trying to sound the alarm bells and warn the maniacal fringe of the Democrat party that they need to slow down before they go completely over the cliff.

In a way, it's comforting to see that there's someone on the left that still has at least a shred of common sense, and the balls to speak up about it. On the other hand, there's nothing I'd rather see than the Democrat party implode on itself, so I hope they don't pay any attention to him.

The democrats are right wing. The Republicans have moved so far to the right they're out of touch with reality. Progressive democrats are centrist careerists.

He is a bad combination of left and right, he acts like a right wing racist nationalist, with liberal views. I dont know how left he is
