The first ammendment doesn't apply to private companies or organizations. Just public space.
Canada and yhe UK have their own laws.
In the US when you have a private public collaboration. The private wins out. So they can censor as much as they want.
Also media corporations aren't liberal. They support the interests of the status quo and their sponsors. For example look at the amount of ads for meds on TV. Then look at how news on those channels pushes the vaccine. Or companies that have a stake in the arms industry and how war is pushed.

I haven seen that movie, but it’s historical fact that the United States under the Obama administration meddled in Ukrainian internal affairs to oust a democratically elected pro Russian president in favor of a pro western one. No doubt the seeds of the current war. cato.org
