The reason why I ask is because I get out of work around 1am to 3am unsure of when. I already book a hotel in Tijuana and will be checking in today. Afterwards I will come back to San Diego for work finishing around 3AM, if the border isnt open or safe then I will have to sleep in the car for a few hours.

My plan is get out of work, drive to Trolley Station, walk across the border, call uber to hotel.

Find out if the hotel you booked can arrange to have a car to pick you up once you pass through the Border control station depending on how reliable the guys that go there regular say the rides are, it should be safe.

Cash in dollars is king in TJ, no pesos required, just remember they like to bargain so you can offer half of what they ask and get a better deal on most transactions.

Nowadays almost nothing cost less than a dollar in the USA and TJ, even at the dollar stores.

Tip at least a dollar or couple of dollar if you get good service.

Don use credit card at strip clubs in general and certainly not in TJ.

So this morning I started at 10 AM, went to walgreens to get condoms, visit the bank to get 250 in 20s and 10s, had brunch at a nearby location then drive down to palm avenue trolley station (I load money onto the pronto app but did not see anywhere to pay when i get on the trolley). I got a 2 person room and they mention that it is $250 extra per person (i assume they meant if i bring more than one escort)

Confirm border open 24/7 and it should be straight forward with the trolley and uber. Today I will probably just hang in the room for a hour and head back due to change in work time.Maybe I will see if i can squeeze in an escort.
