  If you want to know about hotels outside the zona, go to the Mexico Lindo Bar escort service web site. I believe it is $1100 and TLN only. They recommend hotels. You can look at these hotels and then decide. I wouldn't myself use their service because selecting your girl f2f and softening her up is a big part of the fun.

  It might be difficult to get a good answer to your questions - as you are a new member and this is your only discussion (and you’ve not posted any reviews).
  
  It seems the area offers entertainment at all hours of the day and night. If other TJ mongers offer insight, regarding the area, the girls and safety - those factors should all be considered.
  
  I wouldn’t take advice from SJG on TJ. He hasn’t been to TJ. His advice is from reading online posts and viewing photos. He is currently obsessed with TJ hookers and recruiting them to join some sort of creepy sex cult.

  Don’t listen to SJG, he’s never been to TJ, just the local library doing research. My question is it even feasible to travel anywhere at 3 am? Sensible to wait a few more hours and get good rest before a venture like that.

  The reason why I ask is because I get out of work around 1am to 3am unsure of when. I already book a hotel in Tijuana and will be checking in today. Afterwards I will come back to San Diego for work finishing around 3AM, if the border isnt open or safe then I will have to sleep in the car for a few hours.
  
  My plan is get out of work, drive to Trolley Station, walk across the border, call uber to hotel.

  Find out if the hotel you booked can arrange to have a car to pick you up once you pass through the Border control station depending on how reliable the guys that go there regular say the rides are, it should be safe.

  Do you guys generally exchange money to pesos ?? I dont imagine side walk foods stall accept USD or do they ?

  Cash in dollars is king in TJ, no pesos required, just remember they like to bargain so you can offer half of what they ask and get a better deal on most transactions.
  
  Nowadays almost nothing cost less than a dollar in the USA and TJ, even at the dollar stores.
  
  Tip at least a dollar or couple of dollar if you get good service.
  
  Don use credit card at strip clubs in general and certainly not in TJ.

  So this morning I started at 10 AM, went to walgreens to get condoms, visit the bank to get 250 in 20s and 10s, had brunch at a nearby location then drive down to palm avenue trolley station (I load money onto the pronto app but did not see anywhere to pay when i get on the trolley). Park my car and read the sign to make sure its headed for the border. Got on for the ride,get off then follow the sign towards Mexico. Custom is straight forward and there are sign to follows, walk out across the street to look for an uber point. Call uber and I am now at my hotel.
  
  I book a room at B My Hotel by seeing its one of the recommended hotel thanks to @san_jose_guy info on the website. They said check in at 3pm but i show up at 11:30 and i got my room. I got a 2 person room and they mention that it is $250 extra per person (i assume they meant if i bring more than one escort)
  
  Confirm border open 24/7 and it should be straight forward with the trolley and uber. Today I will probably just hang in the room for a hour and head back due to change in work time.Maybe I will see if i can squeeze in an escort.

  I am pretty burnt out from work so I rather have someone come up tl my room, do the deed then leave. If I have more times off like tomorrow, I will try to visit the red light district :D
