Yes I am behind the times. I rarely watch TV shows but I got coerced into watching Narcos: Mexico and I loved every episode. I finished season 2 the other day and I’m excited for season 3 which is coming out in November.
Next I am going backwards and going to watch the original Narcos which is about the Colombian drug trade.
For someone who doesn’t watch TV I highly recommend watching this if you can stand a good amount of subtitles. I think Muddy posted a topic a few weeks ago about documentaries and a lot of people gave some great suggestions so that should keep me busy all winter. Right now I’m concentrating on losing money betting on football to watch TV shows!

I used to work with one of the main couple of agents portrayed in the Narcos about Colombia / Escobar (after he retired from the feds). Dude annoyed the living hell out of me. Dude was constantly chomping on his gum, worse than a cow, worse than Pete Carroll.
But if I remember right, that show kinda made Escobar into a sympathetic figure.
If you can find Operation Odessa on TV or streaming somewhere, check it out, totally fascinating doc about the cartels, Florida strip clubs, and former Soviet weapons.
