Very much so. Some openly advertise as being gentlemen of leisure. But most claim to be agents. Have modeling agencies. Strip club promoters. They try to look legit but they basically hold parties or get girls into clubs. And stir drama between girls and pretend to solve it. The message they focus on is that girls earnings are only limited by their boundaries.
Then you get the wannabes who claim they want to make money with girls.
The tactics are really dishonest. But they work. Lots of girls are naive and impressed by flashy shit and smooth talk that doesn't say anything.

We all have run ins with obnoxious people. But the pimps would probably target more the ones who have 2K or fewer followers. They're more likely to be as vulnerable as runaways at the Greyhound station.
It's the professional pimps ie managers model agencies etc who go for the girls with few followers talking how they like building girls up from the bottom. They gain their trust by getting them to blow-up a little on ig or tik tok.
The girls with lots of followers get boyfriend pimps... or notable managers like tazs angels. Versace dream girls.
It can’t be understated how much the Instagram algorithm helps with this. Once I added a few BP girls on my fake profile, it would just keep feeding me more and more hoe accounts and their friends. It has to be a great tool for pimps.

A lot buy fake followers. They want the appearance of having social clout. IG is all about appearances for many. Men pretending to be nigga rich posing with leased Cars fake chains and rent money. Girls pretending to live lives of luxury. Los self esteem and peer pressure.
These pretty girls don't trap for themselves. They do it for the men and images that manipulate them.
I think Instagram models with over 100,000 followers are likely more social media savvy than 99.9% of pimps. I also think virtual pimping doesn’t have the level of control necessary to keep a whore compliant.
