So, I really don't go to other clubs because I know I won't enjoy them as much. I know that I'm in a rut, but as ruts go, it's pretty great. But, I'm also not submitting a review every time I go.
That said, I agree with you. There have been a *a lot* of Desire reviews since they opened up fully, and 4 in the last 2 days (according to what I'm seeing on their profile page). Which is a lot for a relatively small club in Providence, RI. Personal opinion, I think a lot of guys are coming out of their pandemic bunkers for the first time, and they want a great experience for that first post-Covid experience. If you're in southern New England and you're looking for a safe bet, then Desire is the obvious choice.
Personally, I've become a little tougher judging the Desire reviews because it does seem to be a bit overexposed. I'm still not expecting anyone to write the same in-depth reviews that I write, but I'm trying to tap the breaks a little bit.
Then again, I'm not hearing a lot to inspire me to go to other clubs. Mickey's, Fantasies (apologies to Xxbunny), and RI Dolls are all some version of 'meh' at least right now. Wonderland and Silhouettes are shooting for an clientele that really isn't prevalent on TUSCL (and not me). The only other clubs that tempt me are Caddie and Foxy, but I'm hearing inconsistent things.
To me that speaks to how good the place is even post pandemic. Much like Follies, Playhouse Lounge etc got so many reviews before the pandemic. I will be sure to visit if I'm ever in the area.
Lurker chiming in here. Hopeful to make it to Providence on Monday and Foxy is on the docket for the nights festivities. Review will be submitted for (hopeful) approval afterwards.
Yeah - I think it's a product of Desire being the most-popular - it's pretty-much the market speaking from what I can tell (don't drink the woke-Koolaid of equal outcomes 😊)
@Bharlem I’ve heard that Mardi Gras in Springfield MA offers dancer housing that doesn’t cost a lot for travelers. It is like 1.5-2 hours from Providence tho.
Also, seems Foxy Lady is the club whose name comes up most in dancer groups (and desire #2) so I assume that club is also good?
Hit wrong button with my fat fingers
Waited 5 minutes for waitress to stop talking to the bartender
Fantasies...11 girl line up 6sand 7s until group came in from smoking
Wonderland filled with 7s and 8s that think they're 10s
Haven't been to Silvestre
Foxy is the only club that compares with Desire in daytime but Desire has more privacy and the second floor option
Just because we think it's the best doesn't mean we work there. I'm a regular and I go there 90% of my trips to Providence. Because its better than the other clubs
A lot of you are simply making the claim that Desire is better than the other clubs. That's fine. It's your opinion and you're entitled to it. What I am saying is that there are more than enough reviews of Desire out there for anyone to make up their mind whether they want to try it, or even which dancer to pursue. I haven't seen a review of Foxy Lady or RIDolls for a quite a while, both good clubs. (I have a long list of dislikes regarding Desire, but if I iterate them it will undermine my point that it isn't about how much you love Desire, it's about putting out useful information.)
Don’t have a dog in this fight but IMHO the OP is free to review any club he’d like, I think these guys like to go where they get the most bang for their buck ( pun intended)
You're right, twentyfive. I guess I'm getting tired of reading Desire reviews that get down to the type of alloy in the left nipple ring of the half-Turkish, half-Nebraskan, half-Asgardian dancer who is allergic to chocolate condoms.
I'm not an extras guy, and the lap dances at Desire are a crap shoot at best, if you can find a dancer who is even willing to stoop to doing one.
The last time I went there, the talent was estimable, and one of the TVs was tuned to soccer, the other to news during a Red Sox Yankees game. The manager wouldn't change either TV. What was up with that?
I'm sure I'll get a lot of blather about how I'm having fun wrong.
I don’t think you’re having fun wrong and I understand why you’re tired of the Desire reviews, myself I only occasionally read any but the Florida reviews and only mostly vote on them as well, only so many times can I bother to read how my piano man got taken care of by ole blue eyes the obvious soloution is just skip over the reviews you aren’t really interested in.
loper ... I understand why you'd like to see other reviews. And, no, I don't think you're having fun wrong (but I am a little gratified that this phrase is becoming part of the TUSCL lexicon...).
Here's the thing, I'm just a customer and not a strip club "reporter" working a beat. So, as a customer, I'm going to be much more driven by what's fun for me, and not by a sense of responsibility to provide coverage for other local PLs. So, if there aren't enough reviews for Foxy out there, then I can't help that and it's not on me to try to fix it.
Here's another thing to consider ... in addition to Desire being a prime destination for anyone who hasn't gone to a club in a year, it's also very, VERY much a regulars club. Meaning, it's filled with guys who hit strip clubs more often than the regular Joe, and those "frequent flyers" are more likely to know about TUSCL. Most of the other clubs get more traffic from occasional travelers or random guy(s) who go out to look at titties maybe 1 to 2 times per year.
What I'm saying is that the average strip club customer does more to conceal the fact that they went to a strip club last night, rather than do a full write up. So, even after the post-Covid rush dies down, I think you're still going to see more Desire reviews over any other local club. Maybe (hopefully) not several per day, but more.
And, as to the granularity of the Desire reviews, to some degree that's my fault because my reviews are detailed and a lot of the Desire regulars have followed that trend. But I don't think that's a bad trend, because I turned down four reviews this morning that barely hit the mark of "I went inside and had a beer. Boobies."
Also, I'm still putting in less effort than Papi...
Ishmael is correct. We review the clubs we frequent. That means that the vast majority of my reviews will be about Desire because that is my destination the vast majority of my trips to RI.
I recently reviewed Boardroom Cabaret (Foxy Brockton) and I have reviewed Dolls, Mickey's, Fantasies, Caddie, not Silhouettes, Wonderland and Foxy but, for the most part, recent trips to other clubs have been disappointing. Boardroom is starting to get back into the flow, Dolls needs to have stage dance and the newbies need to gain a little experience, Mickey's is like the stripper senior center, Fantasies is mostly boring and a little chubby, Caddie seems disinterested, Wonderland a lot of 7s and 8s that think they're 10s and foxy which is the only club that competes with Desire for the variety of attractive girls, stage dancing and private dances.
@ Loper: If you are looking for a sexy, teasing no extras lap dance you know who is at the top of my list but you can also get that from Pria, Persia, Sheena, kelani, April, Parker, Piper or Vee.
@Loper: Send me your credit card and I'll visit eadch of the Providence Clubs where I get less fun for more money and I will write a very detailed review of each. Also, we have a cut and paste introduction so adjudicators don't scream, "Not enough Club Details". Skip down to the "THIS VISIT" heading that CallMeIshmael inspired and see about new action with various girls.
Everyone is aware that Desire is open and has returned to normal. In the past, there weren’t perpetual modified openings to sort out before wandering the less travelled TUSCL roads. Then there are the infrequent TUSCL updates to some other clubs that initiate the soundtrack to Deliverance in my mind - when I contemplate a visit. I have made no visits to any local “eclectic” strip club from my recent past due to not having the intestinal fortitude to March into the largely unknown. I do thank Loper for his willingness to go where I am not comfortable to wander presently.
I know several others on here are not Caddy fans, but I've had some really good times there in the past. The one review I've seen in the past couple/few months on here did not sound promising through, making me reluctant to roll the dice.
Foxy is good for what it is. I always seem to have a good time.
Desire is the best balance of looks and mileage, ergo best reviewed place in town.
Mickey's if you desperately want to get off.
Fantasies and Caddy don't have much draw these days.
How is Desire on a Monday afternoon compared to a Saturday afternoon? Debating if I should head up this Saturday or Monday the day after the 4th. I’m not able to get up there during the week much, but I know the talent could be better than the weekends.
bkrieger ... I would lean towards a Monday day. Don't take this as gospel, because dancer schedules change regularly, but I believe you'll find dancers like Parker, Persia, and Isabella there on Monday days. I haven't heard bad things about Saturday days, but some of the better dancers who prefer days will skip Saturday day for a Saturday night shift because the money is good.
Other regulars may chime in with better / more recent information than I've got.
Call Me Ishmael, thank you. I was hoping to possibly run into Renesmee as she only works during the week but don’t want to take the drive on a Monday if it will be really slow and few dancers.
I don't really have enough to review on the other clubs and anything I would say about Desire has pretty much all been said as of late. I also don't like to write off clubs or do a big bad review after one visit especially on a Thursday visit, but I tried a couple last Thursday hoping to find a secondary spot from Desire when it is packed with regulars and hard to get a dance.
Stopped at Wonderland around 9:00. Door guy said $10 when you go inside. Only had 20's (rookie mistake for this place I guess)....guy inside when I asked for my change said, "nah it's 20 now since it's after hours). A sign this trip might not be good but I went in anyways. I was only there 30 minutes as the girls were disinterested, even if you went up and tipped them on stage which the stage is really too high if you want to sit down at the stage. Most of the dances were busy huddled up on their phones. I split after 30 minutes and went to Foxy which I liked the club setup and decent dance prices but I think I caught them on an off night because I didn't find the dancers as attractive as I thought they would be. I will have to give them another try on a weekend. I should have headed back to the hotel at that point but I thought might as well try out Caddy. I was surprised how many dancers they had. Not the best looking but some my type so I inquired on some dance prices. Some girls were asking for $50 a dance. Just seemed like a disorganized place and sketchy at times.
In New England I think I am going to stick to Desire and the former Foxy Lady, now Boardroom in Brockton. Those clubs seem to have the only consistency I am looking for as I am not in the area often.
@ bkrieger: I think the Monday day shift is more diverse than the Saturday day shift but with summer coming, schedules may change for "beach days". Renesme generally works weekdays except Thursday. If you are looking for a replacement Stella is a tiny girl with mad skills (more expensive than Renesme and 10 years younger) but as Ish said, Parker, Persia and Isabella will be worth the trip.
@loper: did you really dislike my attempts at humor?
@dmoney: I have been to the five "top" clubs in Providence within the last six weeks. I rate them 1. Desire, 2. Foxy, 3. Fantasy, 4. Wonderland? and 5. Caddie? (Not sure about Wonderland and Caddie because Wonderland thinks they're something they're NOT and charge accordingly while Caddie on2 trips I didn't see a girl I would take to the VIP and once left after being ignored)
@Dessertscrub: I do think that there are times that someone needs to produce a review to maintain their Premium status so they take bits and pieces from previous, extensive reviews and submit it as their own. However, people have learned to ignore your "Club Ad" addiction. Look at the main page for Desire and see "Reviewers 45" while the others have 9, 10 or 11.There are 45 different people that review Desire. NONE of them work for the club. You just can't accept the fact that this nice little club in Providence caters to its customers and provides a friendly environment, excellent value, a variety of women, a variety of services and has a loyal clientele.
@oldwhiteguy,
Thank You. As always I appreciate your insight. I usually can only get there on a weekend so I usually go on a Saturday and some of the dancers you mentioned have been there on a Saturday but having a rare Monday off for the holiday might head up there.

That's said, I haven't clubbed in a couple months period. Giving the local clubs time to get new talent.
Next time I go I'll write a review just to spite him.

A POEM ABOUT @desertscrub
There is a fool named desertscrub
who works for another competing club
he lost the brain cell that he had
and calls every review a strip club ad
