Yea, me too. I was in college at UofF during the Apollo missions I remember watching launches from the top of my dorm.

Musk is a once in a generation entrepreneur. This country should stop fucking with him and start supporting him.

Well, if it didn't go today, I'll be looking for the third window on Sunday - my birthday!

Better safe than sorry - it's been raining cats-and-dogs for the last week here in South FL 3-hours away - this is the start of the rainy-season but still it's been worse than avg w.r.t. rain - there was a tropical disturbance off the coast a week ago but the stronger-than-usual rain has continued

With about 18 minutes left on the countdown I decided to walk down the street to the convenience store for a pack of smokes. Plenty of time to get there and back before the launch. Just my luck, one of those FUCKIN' ASSHOLE lottery players is buying about 50 individual tickets, checking each one, complaining that the guy gave him the wrong numbers, etc. I literally stood there for 10 minutes waiting for a 5 second transaction. I would have missed it. Little did I know that while I stood there, blood boiling and seriously thinking about punching this guy in the face, the launch had already been scrubbed only seconds after I left my house. So I guess I don't mind waiting till Saturday. Lol.

I watched Apollo 8 blast off from the breakwater at Cocoa Beach. Probably the most third most amazing moment of my life after the births of my two daughters.

The most amazing thing was that the sound took over 30 seconds to reach us, and it literally shook my insides. We were over 7 miles away!
