Too early to hype. How many breakthroughs have they had with HIV and cancer that went absolutely nowhere?

I'll have to look at where they are in the approval pipeline. Unfortunately science and medicine is full of potential treatments that work great at the lab bench but end up more complicated in people. That said, antibodies are generally pretty easy to manufacture compared to other biologics like enzymes.

Sounds promising but I don't think they are injecting in people yet so there is a ways to go

Anyone who reads foxnews for “news” gets what they get. Ditto CNN.
There is a reason there is so much clickbait on those two sites (and others). It’s because they and their advertisers think their audience is GULLIBLE.
If this was a real breakthrough it wouldn’t be “exclusive”, the company would be screaming from the rooftops. Next your going to read Bill Gates bought the company and buried the “breakthrough” to keep his precious patented virus from being compromised. SMH

They have an exclusive because fake news mainstream media only wants to panic sheeple, so they ignored it. In any event wake me up when it hits the market.

It is hopeless as long as it is viewed as a business for profit, the medical industry and insurance companies collude to profit from the health care system.

This cure is on other example of “snake oil” like in the old west...

We will not know if it works for most of the population until it is produced, bought an used and by that time the companies will have made their money...

“Some medical experts believe that while antibody research shows promise, there are concerns for how long the effects may last in fighting the virus in an infected patient.”

“Antibodies, in general, have been very effective at bringing virus [levels] down if you’ve had a high burden of infection,” Phyllis Kanki, a professor of immunology and infectious diseases at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, said in a recent interview. “There are limitations to how much you can give and for how long.”

The old adage, 'If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is' applies in this case

I actually know the company in question, it's legit. The CEO is overhyping early promising results ,which is typical in the pharma industry. It's why we keep hearing about possible cancer cures and yet (most) still don't have cures.

I'll cross my fingers this is as good as the CEOs hype for it is. In the pharma industry getting to market first often means a windfall. Let's say treatment A is 45 percent effective and gets approved March 2021. Treatment B is 55 percent effective but is approved September 2021. Treatment A likely will enjoy the majority of the market share thanks to getting there first and being known.

No need for a vaccine. The president and scientist-in-chief found a cure: injecting or ingesting bleach.
