"Rebel Against ‘GOVERNMENT CONTROL’ Of Public Spaces"
Examples: Three And Four
Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) encouraged people to crowd restaurants.
“It’s a great time to just go out, go to a local restaurant,” he said. “Likely you can get in easily. Let’s not hurt the working people in this country that are relying on wages and tips to keep their small business going.”
The governor of Oklahoma struck a similar tone Saturday, posting a (since-deleted) picture of himself and his kids at a local restaurant. “It’s packed tonight!” Gov. Kevin Stitt wrote, along with the hashtags “#supportlocal,” and “#OklaProud.” (He declared a state of emergency the following day and encouraged Oklahomans to follow the CDC’s guidance.)

They all try to emulate Trump. Appear strong and brave in the face of risky situations, take counter-phobic actions in order to activate the base. Delight the base with triggering the libs by rejecting realistic assessments and best health practices.
Unlike other ill-conceived economic and social-cultural decisions aimed at the base where the long-term negative consequences won't appear until these clowns are either dead or senile, the virus is immune to threats and angry crowds of MAGAnuts. Trump's effort to minimize it thru distortions of reality or intimidate it into submission like he does with people by playing angry to bully backfire.
The virus spreads more rapidly and the negative consequences come much more quickly; the shit hits the fan and splatters these clowns in days or weeks, not years in the future when they could hope to escape blame.
